Who would have pride in playing this garbage heap. Devs don’t even talk to the community, there are over 50 bugs from launch that still haven’t been fixed, namely the stupid hunter/warlock pet bug that makes the class borderline unplayable in PvE while questing due to how stupidly slow the gameplay becomes due to the pet HP bug.
Anyone that genuinely takes Classic seriously is an actual troll, this game is on maintenance mode.

BG’s have turned into a means of acquiring currency, it just comes down to time invested for potential reward. If the outlook is grim there is no reason to contest, it is more efficient to go to the next game where you have a chance of winning and earning more honor.
Arena is where the actual competition takes place.

The avoidance of pvp in BGs makes me sick. AV is not even fun because no one pvps. As soon as Alliance starts to lose in any BG people start saying to stop trying. Disgusting.

Im saying you can enjoy gaming as a hobby or social thing, and still value your time and not want to spend an hour in a single bg for zero reason

You can take pride in anything that you do.
Most people measure value in terms of money or the impact it brings to the people around you - but that doesn’t mean time you spend on things you like can’t be something you take pride in.
I made basically no money playing guitar, didn’t change anyone’s life with it, but I take pride in spending so much time improving over the years.

Last time I checked this is a hobby done for personal enjoyment. Not some competition that needs to be taken so seriously that a lose means anything other than pixels moving across the screen.
At the end of the day this game means nothing, it has no impact on real-life, does not offer or provide any tanglible results. It is just ephemeral pixels that means nothing.
To get bent out of shape about losing means you are taken this way to serious and probably need to step away and re-evaluate your priorities.
