I know but this is actually considered Normal now in most games. Atleast in the DoTa 2 community, 7-8,000 hours is def not uncommon, every match.
Hence sitting is the new smoking,
These where recreational usage of hours too…
personally i quit for GW2, despite it not being super optimized, I’ve had way more fun with it than I had with wow over the past few months where I was just raid logging

Was in The same Server as Dara Mactire on Launch/Beta, very Enjoyable but WoW was still Strong back then.
Still very good open world experience, similair to tarren mill vs south shore.

I def wouldn’t limit myself to FF. I’m not hooked on it yet and am on the fence about it.
Can’t speak high enough about GW2. Story has pulled me in and the fighting animations are truly second to none in the mmo market. Also the leader in awesome mount mechanics by a long shot.
It isn’t perfect but I treat it as a single player game first and group when necessary.

As a mandatory vow I took years ago, I never type in /played.

Yea but what if I have it installed – but I dont have an active sub to 14 because my time/enjoyment is valued somewhere else than sitting in a waiting room for 6 months?

I’d give it a try. It’s one of those things that if you do and don’t like it you aren’t out much. FF style just hasn’t been my thing. Even down to the UI and text boxes
