I have close to 30,000, hours in this game.
Have enjoyed every single hour.
It’s just a shame that the Dev/Activision let their game die.
I urge all players to install FF-14, and put your time/enjoyment were it’s valued,
PS - I spent 8 years designer a port-folio to submit at Blizzard, Looks like I’ll just have to go else-where.
True…I’m installing as we type!
No, thanks.
Keep in mind, the game was at it’s most popular in the past 15 years, when Classic was released, thus undoing 15 years of their own work.
Why ff14? What if I want to play a different MMO.
Press X to doubt.
buh bye
Plenty out there, choose one to your liking, even if that game is still WoW.
So why are you quitting, then?
ESO apparently is pretty good. I personally couldn’t like it though from launch and various times in between. GW2 maybe. Ashes of Creation is going into a persistent alpha soon and might be worth keeping an eye on in the future.
ArcheAge 2 (lol, don’t recommend), New World was already trying to run the idea of buying XP for money by its community and got slapped for it.
Ive heard minimal about New World
Aside from that it’s apparently happening still. Especially not the premium xp choice. Yikes.
I played GW2 on Launch, I was in Dara Mactire on ToR,
I have 3500 hours in dota 2,
You’re just better off putting your time into something constructive, worthwhile.
You are better off not supporting a faulty game.
Heyyy me too well I had a bit over 1650 days /played last year so I’m sure it’s more by now.
Why do you think the game is dead? I’m still enjoying my time spent in Azeroth
Ah look another Square Enix advertisement
I don’t know why there is such a hype for FF14. Guess asmongold says jump and u guys ask how high. I played all of ARR and HW and WoW is much better, just for the world and lore alone. And WoW’s art style is way better IMO.
Why?
Where does the assumption “I’m unhappy with an MMO, therefore I must be looking for another MMO” come from?
Secret World gets a special bit of love from me. If you’ve never tried it, or hadn’t tried it since they remade the game into Secret World Legends, give it a little spin.
Really depends on what you want.
If you want an immersive world that feels more like a singleplayer game with MMO elements, ESO.
If you want engaging pvp that’s an unfortunate grindfest, Black Desert.
If you want a middle road, SWTOR apparently isn’t as bad as it used to be but don’t quote me on that. GW2 also, I was very happy with GW2 when I played it back in 2013. LOVED the game. Just had my friends suck me back into MoP, hated it. Never got back on track then found my way to vanilla private servers, then ultimately ended up with XIV.
If you want to just take a bit off and recuperate then look for an MMO later, Ashes of Creation (possibly, keep an eye on these tests).
I sort of play SWTOR, Secret World, and WoW on and off. I was more asking the OP why he was so insistent on FF14.
27000 hours in game, 1080 achievement points, 1 post, that post is a FF advertisement, why are people engaging with this troll?
8 yr portfolio…rofl.
ffxiv is just that good
