First I will state, WoW cinematics have indeed lost a lot of their quality. No argument there at all.
But I do not play any game for it’s cinematics or even its INCS’s.

ESO is awesome now. They had a rough start but they’ve really turned that game around. Granted, I play it for entirely different reasons than I play WoW for.
GW2 is also very good, by the way. It, ESO, and WoW are my favourites.
I’m glad to hear that. Granted I still will not play it most likely. The last time I played ESO was when I was in the hospital because I ignored an abscessed tooth and it led to facial swelling that the doctors kept reminding me probably could have killed me back in 2018 if infection spread further. (unfortunate for all the people who hate me here lmao). Definitely was a fun time for the week I played back then but just couldn’t commit to the game.
That said, it definitely kept me busy in my hospital bed. I don’t hold ire to the game, just eh, I feel like the things I’d play ESO for I have in XIV. I do remember being super hyped for the game when it came out and all the goofy stuff that happened in Cyrodiil on Wabbajack. Definitely lived up to its name with people taking the scrolls and getting them stuck in the lava in the first week. Being one of the first few people at VR10 also felt really great until I realized at the time there was no PvE aside from basic dungeons, though they did fix that I recall.
I am glad that the people who stuck through it finally have a game that they deserve though if what you say is true!

I’ve played FF14. I played it when it was brand new, and I’ve played this more recent version. It was fun, for awhile, but ultimately…it got boring. Everyone is flocking to it like it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread, but it’s just another one of those ‘grass is greener on the other side’ things.
FF14 has been around for years. Nothing wrong with playing more than one game too.
And what’s your source for the 30,000? I’m genuinely curious. Back when xfire was still a thing, I had logged over 10,000 hours with it running. I’m seriously interested in knowing where I stand today. Does it include deleted characters?

It really isn’t though. The combat is a boring slog and if you don’t want to read for hours and hours, you miss the story. I’m good.
