How it is irrelevant to the power creep late in the expansion? Both are metrics that determine character strength. One was easy to calculate and gauge. The other is an RNG infested nightmare.

And what of the people without the honor gear? They got ate just like a fresh 120 does now.

But otoh, do you think I could have run my shammy in 8.2 as quickly as I ran it in 6.2?
They spent one week afk in Ashran and got full honor + some conquest.
It only took me four-five days when I came back in WOD to get gear to do rated and regular content without being disadvantage.
It took a month of pve grinding on this character when I recently came back just to get to a point of competitive play.

That doesnât answer my question now, does it? Iâm comparing apples to apples since itâs me in both cases.
And that is slow for WoD standards. If you did Ashran with either Avengers for alliance or WSB for horde you would get a full honor set in 2 hours tops.
It was definitely easier in wod I agree. There was still the drastic power creep though that existed at the end of the expansion.
Also my bro came back from s1 last Tuesday and went from 407 to 460 in a week.
Cloak upgrades, raider.io score building, corruption farming.
I just got some corruption gear last week that gives me the power boost I need.
Well it only took me a few days to get a druid to a competitive level where Rag just said it took him a month. Everyone is different in how they play.
All dependent on how much PvE they are willing to suffer through in one sitting.

True. I donât mind questing and find warmode to suit my pvp needs while doing it. Reminds me of Ashran, more pve than actual pvp
It only took me an hour or two to be competitive in WoD, does that mean I could be competitive in an hour or two now?

Except Ilvl is not important, corruption is important. My ring doubles my haste and then some from 22% to 56%. Ilvl is lower, plus I need to get the cloak upgraded to be able to use all of this op stat boosts.
