Love when people confuse “difficulty” for just having a big guild. M25+ is much harder than mythic raiding, everyone has to have the gear and play properly. Meanwhile you can get carried in a mythic n’zoth run. Hell half the raid can get carried.
In the entire history of this game it has never been about raids being difficult. The problem is filling up the roster. You can be the best player in the world and if you don’t have a full roster you can’t do the raid.
I just wish there was content in the game that was solo only. But even that gets ruined by mythic raiders. Like the mage tower fights. Oh look at this mythic raider decked out in a full set of mythic gear. He didn’t have any trouble beating these bosses, clearly it was all skill and not the fact he was overgeared for the content.
Compare that to a player who just hits the level cap and gets basic m0 quality gear that tries to do the same fight. Yeah that player had to wait until the next tier to finally get gear that was high enough in ilvl to be comparable to what mythic raiders were wearing last patch and what the encounters were scaled and balanced around.
Shame Blizzard doesn’t have the balls to do CM’s again where they lower your gear and everyone is on equal playing fields.

And that drops 465 gear, while being harder than Heroic Carapace/N’zoth which drops 470. What’s your point ?
The point is it shouldn’t even be close for the effort investment of mythic raiding vs M+15

Only if you define your BiS at 465 rather than mythic raid’s 475.
That’s fine - up the rewards to +22 for all I care, those of us who can will get there. The path should be possible.
Ok, the meta comp thing is 110% a personal choice so you can drop that as an argument starting now. That would literally be the same thing as me saying “I’d have all keys timed at 28+ IF ONLY I WERE A FIRE MAGE”. Nonsense.
People have completed those keys in gear lacking 485s, why can’t you? They beat math? Conquered the all mighty math?

In any case, if M+ gear is nerfed then they need to nerf the difficulty to be more reflective of its poor rewards. Challenging content should always award great gear so tired of having a game where only people that do big giant raids get the best gear. Like imagine having a game where people too scared to do anything on their own and can only fight monsters with 19 other friends backing them up and they’re the ones that get the rewards. While the hero that wants to fight a challenge on their own or with a single friend or two gets spat on by the devs.
Oh wait we don’t have to imagine this. WoW is already doing it. Rewarding cowards who can only get carried by their peers and never do anything on their own the best gear. While giving heroes no challenges to slay on their own.

It isn’t even close. Mythic raiding drops baseline 475 loot, multiple pieces of it, off every boss, and 485 off Carapace and N’zoth.
By contrats, Mythic +15s right now give you 465s. And 1 piece of 475 gear from a humongous (humongous what ?) loot table, guaranteeing you’re never gonna get that Geti’ikku you had your sight set on. It’s gonna be boots every week, or bracers on off weeks. And they’ll be Vers/Mastery, because HAHA!

15s are a joke brother; at least focus on a higher key as your argument.
I already stated I’d agree with higher gear starting at 22s, 99% of the people moaning in this thread want it at 15s.

This is part of the problem with M+ too imo. A problem not just for raiders but pvpers as well. The RNG of hoping for a trinket or weapon from M+ chest isn’t fun. I addressed it in my original post.
Raiding is trash, has always been trash, and will always be trash.
That said if I can get good stuff solo outta Torghast I don’t care.

The RNG part is gone, you get up to 9 choices in SL. They heard, they fixed, move past it.

The cancer of mythic +, oh why can’t we just have our challenge mode dungeons back?
It would be nice to see this game return to its roots in terms of… killing dragon with 40(25) people = better loot than killing smaller dragon with 5 people

Other reward tracks (where the rewards inside it are the best for that content) can’t exist because it threatens raidloggers? Being atop the heap of a smaller less popular game seems like a self-own. M+ loot should be the best for M+, PVP loot should be the best for PVP. This shouldn’t even be up for debate.

That’s not a problem, it’s factored in the ilvl of the drops. More RNG = more powerful drops.
Uh… You need to get better at armory trolling. I suggest looking under Feats of Strength or just using Raider.io next time.
