The M+ nerf is good and raiding should always offer the best gear

Ilvl was way above 116 in mop idiot.

True, it is showing an older squish.

Still irrelevant as YOUR Wrong. I literally showed you GUIDES FROM THE ERA, that state PLAINLY, you have NO IDEA WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT!

No you’re wrong even the weapons have same item level from normal to elite from the squish in what you linked and even you said that wasn’t the case.

And someone who’s already doing the hardest content in the game, long with everything that entails, shouldn’t then feel obligated to run a Skinner’s Box version of M+ dungeons to ensure they stay competitive.

From what I’ve seen in BfA it hasn’t been nearly as bad as it was back in Legion- where entire specs were held hostage by whether or not you had ultra specific legendary gear drops- but the RNG loot system was always going to encourage the absolute worst game play loops in people who want to play at the bleeding edge.

Im not wrong…

I am telling you reality and your too stupid to accept it even when being shown you are WRONG.

You just keep linking stuff, that doesnt state anything near what you are saying, and saying “Seeing, I am right”

Here you go, since the argument has taken season 12 into specific.
https:// www.mmosale .com/wow-pvp-season-12-p-4526.html

There are three new Vendors in Mists of Pandaria :
• Honor Quartermasters, selling lvl 458 gear: Lok’nor Bloodfist, Hayden Christophen.
• Conquest Quartermasters, selling lvl 483 gear and lvl 470 weapons: Doris Chiltonius, Lucan Malory. Weapons require 7250 earned to purchase.
• Glorious Conquest Quartermasters, selling reskinned lvl 483 gear that requires a 2200 RBG/Arena rating: Acon Deathwielder, Ethan Natice.

Do you understand the word RESKINNED? Or do I need to explain that to you, some more.

I actually think you might be right, I remember it completely different with the gear. Either way there still a weapon with higher ilvl reward.

Even now I still think the gear had higher ilvl as well and there’s just no good source, but I could remember wrong.

Gear is awarded on a per fight basis. If the particular boss takes a certain amount of effort it should reward a certain level of gear. Doesn’t matter if it is 5-man or 15-man content.

It was just wep.

Just weapons was still pretty busted and thats why they changed it.

It wouldn’t be as bad without resil and Pen these days though.

It was mainly just weapons.

Season 4 in TBC put rating requirements on everything.

Some of early Wrath had rating requirements on most pieces, with 1850 weps and 2000 shoulders.

I think by the end of Wrath they had axed the rating requirements then went off and on again with weps.

It’s been a weird ride.

Yea I could of swore there was better gear for pvp, I’ve mostly been a pver.

Kind of got side tracked by that tangent though lol, the main point of the post still stands

I been thinking about this a bit more would be interesting if certain gear had risk vs reward type stats… 1% more damage, 5% increased damage taken and 5% reduced healing received, for each ally within 10 yards… 5% more healing for every nerby ally but each spell cast has a chance to silence you for 5 seconds.

Give the raid some extra mechcanics and on a fight by fight basis assess if its even worth wearing, or dropping down to heroic gear which would not have the “crazy tier stats”…

Mists of Pandaria did it right. No matter what gear you had, it was scaled down to blue quality. The dungeon itself offered no rewards, you simply achieved Bronze, Silver and Gold standards. Elaborate on that, and you have a winning quality of gameplay- reward is based on time to clear, thus making it near impossible to carry others in order to clear the highest standard of time. If you can beat the timer by degrees, the gear reward is accordingly given to faster times. There’s a whole lot to be said about such content as it brings consumables, class makeup and all kinds of things into play. It also allowed people to have a go, regardless of item level. I really wish I could drum that into the devs skulls because it was by far the most enjoyable content I’ve ever done in Warcraft.

Up next, raiding gives overwhelming advantage in pet battles. They feel they deserve it since raiding is harder content than pet battles.

I mean raiding does give exclusive pets. lol

If you keep under mining raiding with content that you are wishing for, then WoW will die. There are tons of action RPG dungeon grinders out there that are very well suited for small co-op groups.

Being social is part of the game though and can be just as difficult as mastering mechanical aspects of the game. This is just part of the puzzle of playing an MMO.

Thank goodness Blizzard won’t listen to misinformed players like you. Praise to Sol!!!

They already have. Lfr and alternate gearing paths all fly in the face of raid or die. Once this latest attempt to force raids falls on its face blizzard will change gears again.

/e cries about someone being conceited.
/e goes right ahead and does the exact same thing.

25+ keys are also repeatable and not necessary to do in order to get some of the highest level loot in the game. You only need to do 15+ for that, which isn’t that difficult.

Comparing content that scales indefinitely (and is balanced around that fact) to content that doesn’t is also just silly. If everything in the mythic raid got scaled up even a couple percent health and damage every week it would quickly become impossible.
