First, I’m not the one whining like a child because M+ is getting a slight nerf. Second I have Keystone Master from Legion, AotC for Gul’dan and Argus. Back when I actually did stuff. You’re right though I’ve done nothing of note in BFA because I disliked the expansion.
You never did tell me how this change will affect you, someone who’s done just a bit more than me who did nothing.
It does??? I didn’t notice!!!
There’s a difference in ilvl being capped during a patch and having it scale infinitely. You’re the one that hasn’t got a clue what their talking about.
First, this is patently untrue. There are still casual guilds all over WoW progressing through the mythic raid and enjoying it. Second, if you hate raiding, don’t do it. That wasn’t my argument, and it wasn’t the point.
Again, patently false. Sure, there are many who agree with you, but that doesn’t constitute EVERYONE. Many of us enjoy instanced content and many of us look forward to it and count it as our primary source of entertainment in the game.
If you don’t like WoW and prefer open world content, that’s fine…but it doesn’t change the fact that the best gear in the game has been reserved since day one for the flagship content, which – in WoW – is raiding.
A mistake, raiding is an old mantra, m+ is a step in the right direction. Content should be hard, but not require multi-hour slogs and excessive people management.
Last I raided was 40 man MC. Fun? Sure. But it’s over. Other games have done much better with shorter, but difficult, content. It’s progress. WoW should embrace that and lead the future, not get suck in relics of the past.
Are you one of his no progress buddy’s? 1 forum post, 4 honor kills, and no progress in anything. It’s pretty clear who the players are that want gear thrown at them for free lol
PVP gear outside of Vanilla, has been bought with Honor, and Conquest.
Honor is easy starter gear from Random BGs.
Once you have Honor gear, you farm Rated PVP for Conquest. Once you have enough conquest you can buy the gear you want. The only exception is Weapons, which were R14 in Vanilla, and 2200 rating to buy in other Expacs. No other piece of gear was locked behind rating. It was simply a grind to get it.
Again, PVP does not work like PVE. You can kill the Mythic boss with heroic gear, Mythic gear just makes it easier to further farm the boss.
Not having Equal gear in PVP, is putting you a impossible odds, to get further. At that point it becomes a skill issue, if you are more skilled you can beat a better geared player. If you are facing a player at the same skill level, and they have 10% better gear, they will win 9/10.
Once you reach a high level, such as gladiator, where mostly everyone is at the same level, your not going to beat a 480 geared glad, with 450 gear.
You’re being stupid on purpose arn’t you or you just lack reading comprehension. what do you think the whole point of the gear advantage part is and they mention all gear not just weapon. good lord go back to school.
“You can upgrade your Conquest armor to Glorious Conquest armor with a 2200+ PvP rating, but it is purely a cosmetic upgrade. A high PvP rating only gets you better PvP weapons, not better armor.”
I really am Perplexed how you do not understand. Are you being stupid on purpose? That is the real question…
God you’re so dumb. here ill provide more info and links, but im sure youll rationalize it some other way in your head.
“* There are three tiers of PvP armor: Dreadful (Honor Points), Malevolent (Conquest Points), and Malevolent Elite (Conquest Points + 2200 rating). Each of these armor sets has a distinctive tint.”
I wish I could thumbs up this more. Blizz said they wanted M+ to be its own end game content. I hate raiding, I’d rather quit the game than raid. Blizzard just needs to commit to making raiding, M+ and PvP their own avenues of end game progression with their own rewards. They could even separate PvP into sections. Stop trying to shoe horn every one into raiding.
