The M+ nerf is good and raiding should always offer the best gear

This is the same argument of years past. PVP players are better than PVE players because xxx, yyy, and zzz. They just dont have the time to farm normal gear or the will to raid. Mythic dungeons in their entirety are a hamster wheel joke. It is a gimmick to fill the time of raiders who are bored and allow anti socials a route to gear. There’s a reason why Mythic carries cost millions of gold and your average mythic key costs in the 100ks. Its not even close. Watching you fan boys try to argue like it is, is hilarious though!

Pretty sure the fan boys are the ones taking all the bad decisions(like this one) and shoving it down other players throats.

All they have to do is make M+ 15 end of dungeon gear the same ilvl as base heroic Raid Gear and no one is complaining. Can’t do that though or the WFR players will farm and trade gear in splits and clear the epic Mythic raid in week one(like EN).

Im pretty sure the only reason people are butthurt about this change, is because they wont be able to have the same Ilvl as mythic raiders, which hits their ego. Raiding should produce the highest level gear, period. It was this way for every expansion except 2.

Na they still get the ilvl after 15-16 weeks. The argument is getting worse gear from end of dungeon for harder than heroic Raid content. If anything a +15 should be 3 ilvls higher than heroic raid gear, but most of us would accept them being equal if they feel it has to be nerfed. Having rewards after +20 would be nice too. M+ players don’t want to raid ever and deal with the smoothbrains who still stand in fire after 16 years.

If M+ players dont want to raid ever, how do they know M+ is harder than heroic bosses? Dont tell me the never raiders actually raided? I really wish they brought back legendary weapons like they did in previous expansions. Do you think M+ players would cry about that too?

LOVE it. That’s just icing on the cake. I do legitimately think this is a good change. The loot river ran too deep.

I raid and M+ have my AOTC and +15 achievement… Heroic is a joke…

If heroic is a joke, I expect to see you clear the heroic raid before your first 15… right?

Most of us just pug the heroic on week 1 for AOTC. I’m sorry your guild can’t manage what a pug can do in a few hours over a few weeks. It’s not our fault that fire keeps appearing under your feet.

This.

I still don’t get why this was necessary. I think you will see far more people armor stacking now than ever before just so you increase your odds and combat the overall loot nerf. (If everyone is leather, then leather will drop, which might be traded to you).

This is what I wonder if was their goal. I really wish they would do a watercooler on their intentions.

Ironically this is what I enjoyed most about M+. Having the ability to be largely free of heroic allowed me to actually try Mythic progression this tier … which is what they should be encouraging.

They should not be increasing the barrier for entry to what is already a dwindling population.

Growth in the wrong direction isn’t a good thing either. BFA felt like a step or two away from full blown ARPG loot overload. It definitely needed to be reigned in. This is an MMO which the genre built it’s foundation on raiding.

saw the stuff about mythic plus in shadowlands and it looks dumb …what is this 1 peice of loot crap for entire group completing a mythic plus dungeon?..thats gotta be the dumbest thing ive ever seen…like hey…drops below heroic level raid gear…fine whatever as long as the dungeon difficutly is passable for the gear that drops…ie completable without having to be in heroic raid level gear to complete dungeons for lower ilvl stuff…but no …1 piece of loot for an entire group? talk about range on top of range.i really gotta wonder what the devs are smoking right now.

Hopefully this restores some semblance of balance to how raids are tuned. The fact that raids had to be tuned around players having Mythic ilvl from dungeons to keep them from being steamrolled is what burnt me out on raiding.

They’re probably thinking “hey this literal river of loot needs to be pulled back a bit”. I think they’re right.

I dont think the number of items should have been nerfed, but I think the Ilvl is in tune to where it should be. M+ is the only place where you can still get an item when you fail (IE dont make it in time). How many raids in wow give you loot when you fail?

This is the kind of mentality that just needs to stop. It’s actually sad to see in 2020. “Fill the time of raiders”. You have the most conceited, jaded perspective of the game it’s actually unpleasant to even read. I’d hate to raid with you, oh, I don’t have to. Do you see the point I just made? M+ is often MORE social and a great way to meet new people. Raiding is a great way to feel isolated within a group and get left out of what ALWAYS happens in large guilds- cliques.

I did my very best to not have cliques in my guild but it always happens, no matter what. There are those that play a lot and those who have a different skill level than others. To say that M+ is anti-social is living in a bubble. I’ve added 4 people to my bnet in the past week because of getting into M+ content. I would hate to have to find a raiding guild because all too often it’s players who use the content as a means to look down upon their fellow gamer. It’s compensating for a lack of real life activity or pursuits and that became blatantly obvious to me after many years of leading pugs and guild raids.

Er, corruption lol? Getting the corruption enchants have nothing to with raiding or M+ but you seem to be ignoring the fact that borrowed power broke every facet of the game, including PVP.

Not everyone has 7 hours to spend in a raid, hearing people talk on mic and wipes galore

The keks of today, they don’t even use PTT they snort and sniffle and chew… it’s just repulsive and none of them even think it’s a thing. I can’t stand it. Worst part is they are cookie cutters in every respect and act like they are the lords of all that is gaming. You can smell a newbie to raiding a mile off, many of them are in here declaring their content is the hardest of them all, it’s a joke.

Sanity bar and a way to clear it. Training wheels version of 0 light if I’d ever seen one. The content is copy pasta they all watch guides, videos and play like robots. No creativity, no actual thinking for themselves. Just play on rails for a monthly fee.

I’d rather headbutt a wall for 4 hours than raid with half the people defending their mythic raiding in this thread to be honest. They just reek of snot and homework, sniffling in my ear and trying so desperately to ‘fit in’ to a society that would probably prefer they stay inside and game all day.
