The X-45 Heartbreaker chance to drop

The X-45 Heartbreaker appears to only have a chance to drop from the first Heart-Shaped Box looted per day per Warband. Other event rewards (pets, toys, cosmetics) may still drop from later boxes, but no definitive confirmation has been made about the mount dropping more than once per day. Conflicting GM responses and player reports suggest Blizzard’s communication isn’t entirely consistent, so it’s unclear if this system is intentional or if a hotfix might change it.

There’s a trick to getting the love rocket, you cancel you sub 2 days into the event with the reason being “no love rocket” then you quit playing the game for 10 years and when you come back it will drop for you after a mere 50000 more kills.

When there was mount mania at the 20th anniversary thing, the love rocket came out and almost everyone besides me had it, that was when I realized more people have it than I thought.

ufortunaly in Cataclysm and the retail It’s going to be another year without the mount, I think the increase in the mount drop % rate alone is just a big bait from Blizzard.

Yep, this isn’t fun. I’ve done the event a dozen times a day on my characters before in previous years and probably would be doing it again this year if I didn’t have other real-life stuff going on.

I think making this mount not to drop made the Holiday Season popular. If you let everyone have this mount, this holiday would become very boring or dead.

To me, i am okay if Blizz dont make any changes. It is working fine. Make players busy. If they didnt get it, at least they got something else like the Broom mount, bought the love boat or the Valentines hearthstone. Keep making new consolation rewards. Dont change the Love Rocket bait.

Speaking of mounts, for all those feeling a bit bummed. Spirit of Eche’ro is back on the menu right now until he hibernates for another 6 months lol. So go get him while you can.
