The Light is more dangerous than the void

Yup. Too much sun will burn plants. They actually do need shade throughout the day to protect them from the sun. Some plants need it more than others. You go to any nursery and you’ll see plants labaled as “Full sun”, “Partial sun”, “Partial shade” to describe how much sun a plant can tolerate… but even full sun plants wouldn’t be able to survive 24 hours of sunlight.

Do you know that theologically “light” actually means the Rational Soul (the basis of intellect and free will), right?

I don’t really care? Just correcting your erroneous correction about Eret’s comment. Plants will bake and everything will suck if the sun was out all day. This is a true statement. The sun helps the plants to grow but it also burns the plants. The shade protect the plants and gives it time to heal for the next day. I don’t care how you use that as a metaphor for your religious contexts but scientifically plants need both the sun and shade to survive.

Darkness cannot abide within the Light! Begone with your void elf propaganda!

The Light represents order, the Void represents chaos. Reality is comprised of a mixture of both.

Pure Light beings tend to be very strict and dogmatic, while pure Void beings tend to be mad and destructive. In that sense, the solution to too much order is a little chaos; and vice versa.

I like the fact I can give myself a like. It strokes my own ego even more. :relieved:

I believe the light is more tyrannical and malevolent and controlling than the void. The light is all about order and everything following rigid rules. The void is about chaos and freedom. I’d much rather join the hypothetical void team than the light team. I particularly enjoy freedom and don’t mind some chaos.

So defensive for someone who refuses to learn.

The Light as the soul existed before any plants, or any game haphazardly used it; ironically, this game’s used it accurately before bad writing took hold.

Totally wrong in every imaginable way; poor you. Freedom is just another word for responsibility.

Take an instrument. One can only “freely” play it once you have total mastery. Anything less than mastery is flopping around like a dead fish.

Can you walk in the middle of space? No, you need something solid and your connection to it must be solid for you to do something so simple as walking.

Your outlook is very interesting Iandore and I respect that. But can you be a little less patronizing and condescending? Thanks. :cow:

Not “outlook,” Absolute Truth; and Truth owes you nothing. I was rebuking you for being wrong and then instructing you on what is correct.

Mmmm…. we in troll country now? Smells like troll country.

If that means “intellectual dishonesty and cowardice,” then sure. Why did you take us here?

That’s all fine and dandy but the way you go about it seems very condescending. I live my life by truth and change my beliefs if evidence is presented that insists I do so. What I’m saying is you can be an advocate of truth, which I enjoy and respect very much, but you can also be less of a jerk about it. :cow:

Cause their fake theology is more fun and they don’t go on tangents when they’re proven wrong.

Talking about plants and taking the word “light” to mistakenly mean physical light?

you went on a tangent when you were proven wrong. It was just a short one followed by you huffing and puffing to yourself for 10 minutes.

The Truth owes nothing to error, especially when your definition of “freedom” is actually the definition of slavery.

Lol ok so now I’ve recognized you as a troll. Good day, sir! :cow:

Never trust the Light!!! :scream_cat:

Why? As I said:

If you want total chaos without any responsibility, that is called slavery.

Because Eret meant it as physical light and used physical light/shade as a metaphor to the Light/Void and you tried to stay on HIS metaphor about how plants only need light and that darkness provides nothing for plants and you’re wrong. Factually wrong.
