I think this takes it up into the mid twenties of different descriptions of ‘the leak.’ For whatever reason, not every one has the next expansion called out by the same name lol. Personally, I’ll start to believe it when there is an official announcement/preview from Blizzard/Activision/Microsoft (or whatever they are called at the time). Considering how each expiation has dropped things from announcement to launch I will believe what it includes when it goes live.

I mean in terms of the name of the expansion - personally I don’t think it’ll be straight up called ‘The Dragon Isles’ – it’s like when they introduced the ‘Eye of Azshara’ copyright claim & everyone thought that’d be the name of the next expansion (Which was instead ‘Legion’).
If the expansion is heavily Dragon focussed, but Azeroth woke up and so did a lot of problems so to speak lol - I feel a better title for the expansion would be ‘The Awakening!’

what colored dragons go horde, and which ones go alliance?
In terms of Factions - They’re like Pandaren: Both.
Blizzard didn’t repeat a multi-faction race like Pandaren - because it was hard to set up story, culture and identity to the lore for the race; but Dragonkin have a rich history and more than enough scenarios of Dragons dabbling in each faction.

I’d prefer dragon knight class. Or dragonsworn. Feel like making them a race will be as big if not more disapointing than worgen as a race over class.
Having both would make sense from lore & gameplay perspective. Especially on the sense that we’ve encountered Dragons in humanoid forms of various other classes.

I tossed the leak out when I noticed a new timewalk prepatch, with a raid, when they couldn’t even supply a Panda raid this expansion.
Not that I put much faith in these “leaks” created my mentally stunted adults living with their parents.

Hmm, that being said - the Legion & BFA leaks where people said the same thing were true. But yeah I get your point - not all hit gold.
Although - Additionally, WoWhead recently datamined some Dragon & Drake related stuff coming in the future; so although it’s certainly not confirmed, it does still seem rather hopeful. 
Lots of different sparkles. And the word dragon in one of the animations.
We have 3 different Dragon Isles leaks so far, and considering they been hinting Dragon Isles in BfA, I’d expect dragon isles… and maybe Tinkers.
I’d rather it was a new dragonsworn class. Make it so the race you choose when you create your character is your mortal form. The dragonsworn class would then let you transform into a drakonid when you enter combat, much like how worgen work. It would still feel like a new race, since you would be in drakonid form most of the time, but you could add all sorts of cool dragon magic abilities too. A single active racial and a few passive ones just wouldn’t do the fantasy justice imo.
3 specs. Mail user. Melee and ranged weapons.
-Melee Tank: Based on black dragonflight. Black rocks, molten rocks, lava effects.
-Ranged DPS with magic AND bows: Combination of bronze and blue dragonflights. Sand, arcane, and frost spells mixed together with shots.
-Ranged Healer with bows (but mostly as a stat stick or solo white dps): This would use the red and green dragonflights. Blooming plants and fire mixed (like ruby dragonshrine). Dream and root type magic too.
Blue and bronze, and red and green, are quite similar pairings, so it’s better to combine them. Plus, blue and yellow are complementary colors, same with red and green. Seems fitting.

I’ll be honest I love the idea, firstly it’s unique, second we need mail wearers, third WoW is in desperate need of other bow wielders.
I love the idea of actually making it an intelligence bow wielder give its own unique flare. Just do what they’ve done to most of the gear in game to bows give it agility for hunters and intelligence for this “Dragonsworn” class, we have only received one intelligence spec not even class which is Mistweaver.
The Dps role can primary be focused on magically infusing their arrows, with a little casting and healer be the reverse.
Sorry if im completely wrong with your idea, but I think a healer that used a bow, casted heals from hand and bow be great, shoots a healing AoE area, and cast other spells, while using a bow be insanely awesome.
I’m picturing like some Draconic Spell infused Ranger. Can be in melee (tank) or range (dps and healer) depending on spec.

Hmm Dragonsworn are more of a sect than a class though. Like in the game you even see ‘Dragonsworn’ that are other classes such as priests, mages etc.
But it’d be cool to have both: Dragon Race of all the prime flights (Black, Blue, Bronze, Red & Green) and a Dragonsworn class —
You could justify it via those among their kind that instead of choosing the path of another class - sought to refine their draconic skills, and find a semblance of its power whilst maintaining their humanoid forms to amplify said-powers. That’d be a good way from a lore perspective on bringing it to life.

Also as a racial it’d be cool if they had dragon wing glide like Demon Hunters do 
– As for flying, have a racial like ‘Running Wild’ for Worgen except turning into X Drake (Assuming you already own it - as stated in original thread creation statement).
I want my metamorphosis back :´-(

Shooting the heals would be pretty cool! I could see having an aoe heal that looks a lot like the Kyrian resonating arrow (with an arc instead of a straight line), only with dragonfire that leaves a burning flower patch behind.
