The key squish in DF S4 is what killed low M+

Within the game there is an option to only show achievements linked to the character in question. I toggled that and now it shows that I have 805 achievements on this forum toon.

But this toon is on an account that has ~15k.

M+ has been competitive since it first came out in legion. The first MDI was a year after legions launch.

Oh damn. Spy games!!!

They absolutely had a MASSIVE impact on S4, being able to use them to get your BiS tricket? More importantly BiS trinket combos across multiple raids at the same level? it was insane.

My warrior had like all of the shadow flame items so a huge chunk of my damage was just my equipment and enchants dumping out massive amounts of shadow flame damage.

Those trinkets were equally nuts as well.
It was VERY impactful.

I’m not saying they didn’t have a massive impact. What I’m saying is that absent harder tuning that Delve gear would also have a massive impact. Especially in low M+.

So either the disparity isn’t as bad as we are claiming or it’s likely that dungeons are just overtuned in comparison to S4.

doing a few +10s but not being a sweat lord to get some sort of key achievements is something that happens. not everyone puts all their self esteem and self worth into doing the same dungeons over and over for nerd points.

I hate M+!!!

I don’t put an ounce of self-worth into this game.

I also don’t find +2’s difficult.

I think you’re just bad at the game and are projecting all over the forums as a result

Breh we’re all on the WoW forums here. We can smell your axe body spray from here alright. We know you’re very cool.

Its definitely over tuned. Things dont feel right in the dungeons at all, DPS checks and healer checks in some of the lower keys are nuts for what they are giving out.

It also does not help that like half of the dungeons are buggy as hell, espeically with the current affixes or just poorly designed fights.

yes, i’m bad at the game. that isn’t some kind of gotcha. people who aren’t great at the game do play. there should be content for people like us too. heroics are too easy and 0s are now too hard. do you understand that content has to exist for everyone? people will unsub cuz they’re now locked out of content they did last expansion. then who will pay for all the content the elitists want?

Way to be inclusive and accepting

Welcome to real life. If you don’t make the cut, you’re benched. You can complain about it, or you can do something about and get better. Your choice.

I mean yes. Which is weird that the higher more determined keystone fanatics are happy to push people out of it. It’s killing mythic+

Sir this is a wend- video game.

A small segment of players for sure. And you will be back, if you do quit.

Ah behold the solo players final form.
Loves solo content and wants everyone one to do solo content and screw everyone else.

Classic.

It’s not intended to be a gotcha.

But when you’re in the forums acting like being bad at the game makes you cool, and anyone who isn’t bad at the game bases their entire identity around it, you’re gonna get some pushback.

Sure, if you find m0’s too hard, I’m sorry to see that. You’re right that dungeons aren’t offering content to this particular playerbase.

I still think plenty of options exist to play the game.

In addition to maybe just practicing and getting better so you can participate in mythic dungeon content, there’s a lot of other stuff to do.

I think the game will survive with 20 less subs.

And there’d be a lot less whining in GD.

Sounds like a win-win to me

Yep, and the same rules apply. If you can’t hack it, you’re not invited. There’s nothing wrong with that.

Why should I let you hold me back?

I don’t care about your feelings just like you don’t care about mine. There’s nothing wrong with that as well.

they’re doing the same thing to M+ that happened to arena. people were like “git gud nerd!!! don’t queue if you can’t handle it!!!” and they’ve spent years on GD now begging people to play with them. once you get rid of the… less desirables. there’s less people who play. their alts they want to do low keys on now only have sweat lords who expect them to have gear better than the dungeons offer. this is the game they want and we should give it to them.
