They’ve had two both of which included a Horde and Alliance side at least.
I believe before I got involved they had a larger one or two back during early bfa.
It would depend for me too if I’d be able to attend.

When the hubbub about AR’s gets going again that topic can be revisited.
There is still a part of me that hopes Blizzard sees all the support going for various races to become playable that they do another batch like they did with BfA.
Not sure how likely that is compared to occasionally making a set of new races every now and then, but it would be really exciting to see a bunch of races become playable that people have been requesting for a long time. Some dreams would come true with such an announcement! 
Needs to happen and alliance needs something new to offset vulpera.
This race is what should have been the goblin AR to begin with. If this had been the pairing that mechagnomes would have made a lot more sense and given the past ARs, but it seems that someone in the wow DEV team was a ratchet and clank fan so here we are.

Been hearing rumour that 9.2 or 9.3 might take us back to Northrend at least…
I doubt we’ll see Kelfin there but its always possible a return to Azeroth will coincide with several new ARs…
If I try really hard to be hopeful. 
Might be a bit cold for them to swim in the area, especially if the water is frozen, but it could be possible. I’d like to think they’d be assisting with the undead swarming the world (of Warcraft!) somewhere.
But yes, a return to Azeroth with some new playable races, ones people have requested for awhile, would be awesome. Maybe to go with that old world revamp rumors going around. I’m sure Kelfin could fit very well there!

Also a new month has begun, and Kelfin are among some of the races I’ve sent in-game suggestions to become a playable race, along with pointing out this megathread for more info.
You never know if it’ll lead to something or not!
I am going to make some more things and add them to the ideas. Also some of the existing concepst I believe cna be better than the are now.
I’ve noticed many more mentions of Kelfin (or kelpfin as many keep mistyping).
It’s been very nice.
My skills have improved and now I may be able to make a custom version of this model for greater authenticity.
I mean, I love them too, but given how many people go into frothing rage spasms whenever Vashir is even mentioned, I just don’t see Blizzard being willing to do a race so wholly focused on the aquatic.

Not like they’d be limited to that zone. They’d just be player races like any other.
Vashjir was considered a great zone to some and something like this would be nice for those who like that area.
Gilgoblins aren’t solely aquatic as they been found on land many times.
Honestly, while I have a fear of oceans and deep, I’d personally not mind more zones like that.
I do wish they’d gone a more GW2 route where we all just have breath masks standard for the water breathing issue but it was fun and new back then.
I also kinda liked the seahorse mounts.
The thread is mostly set to be honest, but once I finish my current project I am going to make some more gilblin fanart to update this thread with.
I do hope in the next expansion there is a return to Azeroth and all the races people are still requesting get their chance to be added.
I really want to see Kelfin along with so many others being added finally.
