they already did.
Hahaha. OK, that was a good one.
Yes, but once a half-elf is born, theyâre is half-elf. It is unlikely they will remain half-elfs.
Genetics can be a b****.
That is why having a character that is half elf is acceptable, or half orc, but having a whole playable race seems not logical.
At some point they will lose their racial traits and becoming something else I guess?
IF there was a bias, then the Horde âLoyalistâsâ that the devs have seemed to have forgotten, would have had some sort of happy after but no⌠Weâre amongst traitors ( In my point of view ) and if I mention anything about it ( Which technically I canât anyways ), Iâd be considered the real âtraitorâ and be dealt with like those at the end of BFA.
Advocate for half elves, they are very determined race to prove themselves.
And I fully support it, but would all alliance want it? I am uncertain.
You canât distinct a Void elf and a Blood elf.
That is broken.
You and several others, limited only to these forums completely overestimate how much this actually matters.
âBrokenâ? LOL.
It doesnât matter, they are of the same race, lore supports it. Exceptions happen. The fact that itâs an issue = a you problem. It literally has no impact on you from a gameplay perspective.
Alliance has void elves, with natural skin/hair - lore supports it and Blizz absolutely made a great call moving forward with that. Time to get over it.
All of my old school characters wear Spear of Volâjin forever more. He didnât even get to have the killing blow on Garrosh before being relegated to a legacy of a place in in a Jungle nobody ever goes.
who says next gen of half elf only marries another half elf. could just as easy marry a helf or even a belf. its a population of independently minded elven folk. afterall.
oh its too late now. this was back when they asked us what allied race we wanted and after that, when velfs were only blueberries. instead of asking for high elves, i argued for half elves.
It does matter.
It is the uniqueness of one of the most popular races getting shattered to satisfy a portion of the player base (and we already know it is the minority).
And they even have the audacity to say there is horde bias⌠lmao.
âGreat moveâ yeah, having your void elf and saying that, imagine if not.
Alliance didnât get over Horde getting blood elves for 15 years.
That is the longest crybabies have been crying about it until they finally got it.
But then lore doesnât support that.
sure it can easily. some quelâdorei are still high elves. some are half elves. there ya go. lore.
Some (not even quantifiable).
Still not enough to say there is a population.
Yet Void Elves, which were initially stated to be a small crack team were numerous enough.
But they were also made with future plot involved, they arent staying just a crack team of elves, they have plans for them.
the argument was they are dying out. no, they are half elves, mostly. the ones we see in game, veressaâs silver covenant forces, are half elves.
Yet that hasnât happened. And knowing Blizz, it probably never will.
They are already setting up for it, silvermoom is supposedly going to be attacked by alleria or something in a leak.
âThe golden one claims a vacant throne. The crown of light will bring only darkness.â
No it doesnât. Itâs barely noticeable in game - in fact you really have to look for it. Blizzard pulled the trigger, the dust settled, and no one cares. Itâs only the forums and a small, barely vocal and misguided group like yourself.
Yeah it was. I love my void elf. Huge props to Blizz on that one.
Alliance has high elves now - time to get over it.
High elf npcs were in pretty much every expansion for alliance. Lore supports it. Blizz finally added them, and let me tell you - it feels great.
Feels great because in reality, it benefits my gameplay experience. Also in reality, I know it doesnât impact you at all which also feels good - I genuinely wouldnât want that. The fact that anyone would take issue with it is purely âwELL i DoNâT wAnT tHe OtHeR tEaM tO HaVe wHaT i HaVe!â. Itâs profoundly childish.
