No, you’re whinging at me about something that happened several days ago, in regards to a term that is often used in a derogatory way, and expecting me not to call you dude because for some reason you’re annoyed by it.
Which is what the other user assumed about me and given the context it was blatantly obviously untrue, and also wasn’t speaking to that user or about them for that matter.
And? What you find personally insulting does not change that being called a female dog or girlie are terms that are used in a derogatory sense.
Not really, you’re only saying such because you’re hard up to bat for anyone who wants high elves. Just like Lann is quick to laud unnecessary amounts of praise to anyone who wants high elves as well.
This conversation is a waste of time on all parties parts.
His for bringing it up.
You for defending it.
Me for bothering you entertain either of you.
Moving on now. If you can’t do the same then tough stuff.
I agree, I do not find being called girlie, or dude to be to be offensive. @Lann, You calling me girlie didn’t offend me. I want to clear that up just encase you thought that it did.
Thank you that means a lot, I’m a naturally sensitive person which is my own thing, but I have been trying a lot harder to see the good in forum posters from the opposite side of this argument. And the policing of speech I used in the context to someone I view on friendly terms did not seem in any way shape or form anything other then trying to grief me for no reason, and it did bother me because I always value conversations with you and felt it tried to seek the most obtuse reference of the word to make it seem I paid ill intent with it.
Absolutely nothing.
This entire matter was brought up by Lann, and then YOU decided to come in swinging on his defense.
Now you are acting as if I brought this up?
Please refrain from acting so obtuse. Its a forum, not a verbal discussion.
It doesn’t affect me either way Lann. Your justifications are nothing new.
He’ll be fine. If anything he needs to learn not to take everything as a slap to the face.
Because as a Blood Elf, I find those Alliance Elves still calling themselves High Elves to be extremely offensive. Why I gave up being a High Elf to honor the memory of all those that had died. Now there’s some group running around with the Name High Elves. How are poeple going to know what group I’m honoring with the name. Awfully hard to honor the memory of something that still exists. So them High Elves have made it so that all my sacrifices were for nothing. Everything I did, I did it for nothing.
Not that I’m against high elves, I think the high elf fans aren’t talking much anymore, seeing as all 3 high elf threads are lead by heavily anti OPs.
I do respect the few who are still here though.
I really do hope they’re eventually playable. Would be fun to RP with fellow quel’dorei or just actually see them as players rather than npcs.
