You’re a hard stuck rival in actual arenas but blizz catered to bad players that queue non stop to get their very first elite… Then think they deserve glad even though they have never been within 400cr of it till rss.

Shuffle is ACTUAL arenas, and I do 2s for fun my win rate is really good cause when I do play it’s with my friend and we go 10 - 15 wins for every 1 loss.
Why tf should Blizzard cater to a dead game mode that less than 1k people play?

Fine, glad in rss at 4k rating and over 500 rounds win above 4k.
Start aiming for your goals or gift a steamer another 50 subs and try to buy a carry.

The reward structure in and of itself is partially to blame. It’s barely changed in years meanwhile other games like XIV changed their reward structure and saw a huge increase in PvP activity.

As long as it’s not gatekept to 3s that no one plays i’m fine with it, it should be available in RSS.

Yes but why do they want to play with them? They are good? They built relationships over time? I thought I addressed this in my comment but of course it’s more difficult now but it has always been difficult.
Updating the LFG tool is a great option here to help out but ultimately complaining about difficulty is not a good enough reason. Why do people feel entitled to things that are hard to get?
Someone claiming to have a 10-1 W/L ratio in 2s, a spectacular 2400 solo shuffle rating, can’t find a 3rd to push 3s? They are not gladiator level in DF S1. Neither are the ex-glads at 1800 right now. Neither am I. That is reality. The rating may inflate and change everything but right now that’s how it is.

It’s not though? SL Glad players primarily make up the bulk of 1600 - 1800 lobbies.
Care to provide a source for that or prove that “most” of them “bought” the achieve?
Obviously we’re also ignoring that the mount is account wide and doesn’t guarantee the player isn’t playing a class or spec or role they’ve never played before.

Their gameplay and the fact that a majority of them are stuck at low CR and cant make it past 2100 this season on any toon.
Op has some good points, I think a recolor for shuffle is a great option like Kennie said though. I can’t see 3s getting better without significant changes.
I could see it being frustratingly unachievable for new players to learn and meet higher skilled players to climb the current ladder.
Dial back shuffle mmr, crank up 2v2 and 3v3. Shuffle is no doubt going to always be extremely popular due to ease of access, but having it just be 500-800 rating higher while offering almost all of the same rewards is…silly.

Again though, perhaps my point is being lost here but I’m trying to disprove the word “most.” I don’t doubt there’s people who got carried. But I will never ever believe, especially from people who are much lower xp, that most sl glad players didn’t deserve it or are secretly terrible. It’s just objectively not true. Esp because I’d wager most don’t ride the mount. I’m just arguing the blanket statement is all.
