This is not true. You originally needed 39 other players to do any end game content. You can get far more relevant gear through solo content now than ever before. And I say that as someone that thinks mythic track gear should be available in all forms of content.
shrug
Depends on rank of key. If the group isnt interrupting early on, I see no issue with a friendly reminder that we, as a group, should be doing better.
I cant speak for others. I am not a huge fan of calling people out specifically. So I try to avoid that.
I just try to be “ok guys, we need to be a bit better on interrupts” or something of that nature.
Notate an issue, but keep it general.
I agree. It should be fixed though. Too many players who want to play who’d rather quit than be forced into M+
I may go a step further if I was going to comment on it. Maybe point out the things I’m watching for interrupts and suggest another player with one in their kit look for something specific as well.
Though interrupting anything you see is usually better than interrupting nothing at all.
What are m+s problems though? Because m+ no longer awarding disproportionate gear for its difficulty isn’t a problem.
Seriously, just stop it, come out of your self made delusional bubble and play the game the way you want & enjoy and stop thinking the 1%'s and “sweat-lords” care about delves and the way you play the game, like AT ALL.
Read the thread. I grow tired of repeating myself in this non stop M+ social media debacle.
I’ve seen “forced to run content I don’t like to keep my spot in higher keys and raids” far too many times to believe that.
Can’t say I really see or experience things the way you do, maybe it’s an NA / EU difference?
Doing my weekly 10-11s mostly in silence, then if things do go wrong higher up it’s no hard feelings maybe next time.
Delves aren’t part of that.
A complaint being ridiculous doesn’t change that it exists though.
Okay, I have NO IDEA if you started playing in vanilla. So here it goes.
OMG you had to have a guild just to level and complete five mans. You needed them to get some class quests done. To get keys so that you could even get in the darn instances. To get the darn mallet of zul-something-farrak. When you were leveling all instances were progression. Because there wasn’t much in the way of rare gear from anything else.
If you had a mage, a rogue, and a hunter in the group you KNEW there was going to be a polymorph, a sap, and a hunter pet that was going to break CC before aggroing another group. Yah CC was a big thing.
I make no judgement on if it was objectively harder. Subjectively, more fun. And I credit that fun to being in a guild first, and importantly a guild that was working towards that content.
That’s all I got.
I like gearing up alts in delve loot. It’s quick, I don’t have to play the “oh pick me” mini game of signing up for groups. And if I mess up once, I still have 5 more attempts. Group wont rage quit after one mistake. I also don’t have to know the map like the back of my hand, have skips memorized, or know what mobs I need to pull to get %. I can just play, learn and get shinies.
My friend.
Your exaggerations are the debacle.
I played a dps shaman, which means I just never got invited.
The hard CC meta was worse than anything we have today.
My man, don’t give in. Servers are down. You are our content creator. Don’t leave us hanging.
Mythic raiders don’t care about a few extra pieces of champion track in week 1 of a season. S1 started weird with mythic+ opening a week later and players having 24 delve keys to use, but we already know neither of those things will happen in season 2. I used my keys and did delves because I had nothing else to do at all and wanted to play, not because I was compelled to for a raid spot.
Forced?
IF you want to be part of a mythic raid team and/or Myth vault M+ group then everyone SHOULD be on the same mindset of progression that teamwork make it happen.
If you want to be part of such groups and only raid log, do open world content, dont enchant stuff, your gear is 10+ iLvls behind the average, then yeah that player is not playing fair for the rest of the team.
There’s content for everyone out there, no one is forced on anything and if someone feels “forced” then go down a notch, do LFR, normal raid, entry lvl M+s, no one forces anyone for the sake of FAIRNESS.
Type M+ in reddit or twitter. Its been a debate all TWW long. Its honestly tiresome. I only put my 2 cents in cus I feel bad for a large portion of the playerbase.
Im fine sitting at 625 slow grading via raid. I wont lose my spot.
I find delvers who complain about being “forced” into m+ just as silly as the m+ people who complained about being “forced” into delves early in the season. No one is “forced” to do anything. People need to learn better impulse control.
