I highly doubt that, Ion said they can do it, i dont think they have made a system in place for it unless they are already planning to keep covenants past this expac which of course would turn them into such system.
Otherwise itwould be completely wasteful to create such a system when it is likely you wont use it, even if they agree I am guessing it would take at least one major patch before they make that work since they ll actually have to build it, the rip cord wasnt literal.
so what, your opinion are your own. stop trying to make up some casual vs mythic complex to fuel your own opinions. you’re posting these for yourself, nobody else.
When the tryhard wannabe elitists try to spread the fake narrative that everyone agrees with them and hates the covenants therefore they should be changed, I am sorry but I am not gonna allow that narrative to spread freely when there’s many of us who love the current locked covenant system
you’re doing the same thing about your own opinions. thats why you make so many threads
how do you even call yourself casual when you spend all this time worrying about starting arguments, a real casual would just log in and play and enjoy their time and not spend all their time worrying about what others think but thats all you do
Nobody is suggesting that everyone agrees with them, but that every kind of player agrees with them - it’s not exclusively a, “tryhard wannabe elitist” issue.
except a system like thats sucks, if your the sort of person who prefers to try out each ability/covenant/playstyle before you lock yourself in.
you get to try it out in a small way while leveling, but i think most of us know how different leveling and endgame can be. furthermore, if your a MS healer, looking to raid, GL trying out your covenants while leveling to see how they feel… no raids to level in.
i imagine it feels even worse if your the type of player who plays multiple specs.
theres a shaman in my raid team, who will swap to heals when we need an extra heal, switch to range when we have too much melee. he wont have much of a choice to what role he’ll be filling on a particular raid night, i hope he has covenant option that will be useful for all his specs, otherwise its not going to be fun for him as it could be.
but the big disconnent with the covenenat system is how it lumps aesthetic/cosmetic choices in with gameplay choices.
theres one or two covenants i really like the look/feel of, but i find the class abilities lackluster.
so im stuck making a choice as to whether i want go with the covenant ill enjoy more while playing, or pick the covenent i think i can tolerate staring at for the next 2 years…
…and at the end of the day, i’m subscribed to play the game, not look at pretty order halls.
aesthetics and gameplay should not be linked. it creates a conflict of interest for most players.
Those who want a good game for everyone (Chad winners)
Those who want a “”"“RPG”""" dystopia no matter the consequences (Cringe losers)
And then there’s Ràlph. He’s a side of his own with the massive displays of stupidity over and over.
Well yeah, difference is one is aggressive cuz they support human rights and a decent living experience instead of a miserable life under capitalist corporate boots and the other want to bring back certain historically proven maniacs because “oh no immigrants and gays are scary D:”
