There’s a reason you don’t start FF7 with the ultima weapon or W3 with the ursine school set. If you want to min/max your character, you should have to earn it.

But you’re not being forced because the content that he was talking about being WQ are super easy to complete. You’d have a point if there was a legit struggle that was only eased up by higher ilvl gear. But all it does is take an easy task and make it even more mindless. And when we’re talking about the opposite here…
It’s actually flipped. It’s not players doing hard content to try and get better gear. That situation is players who would like to do more challenging content being told to do something that in their eyes is ridiculously easy and even boring to some of us as a requirement if you want to make raiding easier.

Pointing out and disassembling bad arguments isn’t trolling, grow thicker skin.
It’s something that I don’t quite understand. If Ocarina of Time were to come out and be this new entity in gaming I legit wonder if some people would complain that within their first big chest they got a slingshot instead of the Master Sword.

I doubt Mario would have took off like it did if it started every level two jumps from the finish flag.
This post was to answer why shouldn’t raid gear be good everywhere but PvP but no other gear should be good in a raid. Make every set of gear only food in its area (raid, PvP, dungeon, WQ/openworld) and crap everywhere else.
But it’s not a requirement. It just makes it easier. Same reason it helps WQ stuff. It makes it easier. But since you say it’s not required for WQ then it must not be required for raiding.
jalen what is going on in this thread? are people still wanting mythic raiding ilevel gear from WQ? aka should i leave this thread again.

Some Benthic pieces surpass 455 warforged Mythic pieces. You’d be a fool if you were looking to do progression and not utilize those pieces. When it comes to high end raiding you have to do whatever is necessary to give you any kind of advantage. So yes, it is required.

LFR should be exactly what Normal is but you get stronger with every wipe on the boss. Not the faceroll it is now.
Also, get rid of war and titanforging.
i hope eventually you guys do get what you want and then no one does lfr anymore and then they can’t justify all the costs that go into raiding for such a small amount of people. then they continue to do things like benthic for the majority who play.

So if you don’t have that benthic piece you cant enter the raid?? That would be “required”. If it’s an advantage go ahead and get it. Just dont try and remove it from others just because you dont like how its procured.
First off yes. Try joining a serious progression guild while Benthic is BiS for some slots and tell them that you don’t have any pieces yet and tell me how that goes. Second, I’m not suggesting removal of anything. Not sure where you got that from.
People can put themselves into whatever box they want. If they want to be a solo player who won’t even touch LFR or LFD that is on them.
It’s not up to Blizzard to make sure the content they create fits the player’s preferred style of play…mainly because that’s impossible to manage.
To quote on old saying: Don’t like it don’t do it.
The other option is to just remove the affix bonus from working in EP. This way you actually have stronger gear than mythic raiders out in Nazjatar, but at the same time… mythic raiders aren’t relying on world quest content for their character progression. Or better put, they’re relying on WQ content to be an entry point to their own raid content.
In other words… I think it’s sorta silly that I’ve killed 1 single boss on mythic, yet 4 of my pieces I already know won’t be replaced regardless of what drops for the rest of the tier. (raid wise of course)

I’m back up in this thread today and I still wake up every day n think about the removal of PvP Vendors and how it has forever saddened my character since 
you gear from WQ to get into heroics to get into mythics to get into raiding. what’s so wrong about WQ items being good? i am for the removal of effects from the raid but i find it very odd that the “i’m too good to do WQ for upgrades” seems to be the hill you all want to die on.
People attacked LFR and got what they wanted. It’s practically useless now (only usefuly for story). Karma sucks.
