Everyone knows Cata isn’t popular or going to retain players but that doesn’t matter.

So after the 30% buff is out and everyone has shadowmourne you think wrath will keep players? the current Arena scene is horrid as is and as stated previously the raid will be over with sooner rather than later. Vanilla era works because leveling is a journey and you still need to do most of the raids. Wrath you get to 15 press i stand in one spot until 80 then do it again but standing in dal collecting currency.

Just in case anyone is wondering… Character redesign took place in 2014… patch ver. 6.0.2. So if one is expecting the redesign sooner on classic they will have to wait or Blizzard may not even add this feature within Classic. personally, I think adding this feature was a waste. Keep classic as is because it’s not about the “Trial of Style”.

The few here who keep making sock puppets don’t represent the entire classic player base no matter how much they want to pretend they do.

Its also disengenuos to refer to the Wrath as the Classic playerbase. They are vastly different groups of people who were systematically lumped together for marketing purposes.

By the way if you think they won’t sell Trader’s Tender for real money you haven’t been paying attention. It‘ll be a cleverly disguised cash shop with an extra step.

The game starts when you get Shadowmourne and BiS gear. It’s just the beginning.

With that said. Of course. People have been playing Wrath the last 10+ years and will play Wrath 20 more years from now. It’s a timeless game.

Thank goodness that raiding is such a small part of the game. Do a Raid or don’t do it is hardly what makes Wrath or an MMO what it is.

I don’t mind you expressing your minority opinions here. I hold some minority views on how I’d like the game to be too. The difference is I know many of my opinions are not held by the majority of the players. You parade your minority views as held by the majority, which they clearly are not.

at this point i’d say that above 50% of the players online are either raiding or preparing for a raid or just finished one, i think when it comes to vanilla you can talk about mmo aspects but when it comes to stuff beyond tbc, people are basically just raiding and logging off

That’s just not true. Raiding is a very small part of the game for most. It’s good that it’s there for the people that “Enjoy” it. Like dungeons. A lot of people dabble in Raids and Dungeons for only the gear but don’t “Enjoy” them. They want to get in get some items and get out as quickly as possible. They want to get Raids/Dungeons “over with” so they can play and enjoy the game.

Your personal experience is all. It’s the opposite where I am. On my servers it’s actually busier on Sun/Mon however it’s very active every day. Most don’t really steadily Raid here and only do it for the gear. Raiding is kinda scoffed at as a necessary evil to acquire items.

With that said, I have never played WoW to raid and ideally it will make up about 0.0001% of my game time. If I do have to Raid I want to get it out of the way so I can enjoy and play the game at some point.

List all of the content in classic. 99% of dungeons are useless. You have PvP, which is basically useless and guess what is left, raiding if you want the best gear.
