The difference between a Paladin and Priest is basically their weapon choice and that has basically been the lore from the beginning.
Their sets looking like the other is perfectly fine because they overlap lore-wise anyways.

From their Twitter it seems they also did the Blood Elf heritage armor set, too. Which was pretty amazing! I still wear it on my Prot Pally.

Honestly, new Alexstrasza isn’t that good. She and that priest tier set share the flaw being overdesigned.

Whats irritating is they play a priest is what they said, and made the tier look how they wanted… why do you get that much control over a whole tier set for your class?
Sure it makes sense in a way, but when i look at everyone else’s tier set, is that the case for everyone else…? because a lot of them are very bad lol…
Whats next, people who balance each class and the ones that always top perform are actually the mains of those employees…? oh wait.

Gotta say, was not happy initially with the Alexstraza revamp until I was starting DF and stood right in front of her… Those eyes… She felt mystifying as always.
Yet I’m still angry they changed her model in Dragonblight! Curse you Blizzard!

To be clear, it’s not good that someone decided they wanted to move on. Losing employees that work on a thing you enjoy sucks. But maybe they should stick to NPC’s because that tier set is an eye sore.

Artists are a dime a dozen. Id be willing to bet there are 10000 artists out there that can do a better tier set and a duck. Come on man!!

Lots of people love the priest set, and all the paladin mains were in tears that it wasn’t their set. They got stuck with the awful cone robes.
