The Arathi Tonal Disconnect

So you agree with Erevien that they’re humans? Yikes. Guess Arator is a human then.

If that helps you get through the day, than have at it. :dracthyr_nod:

Even more since Blizzard likes to throw around the word “Empire” everywhere. Just as much as “Kingdom”.

Just recently with the Arathi Empire
Dark Irons (their leader in vanilla was called Emperor Dagran)
Jinyu Empire (which predated the Mogu Empire)
Mantid Empire (Shek’zeer does say “Death to all who dare challenge my Empire” on pull, also the mantid are ruled by a Grand Empress).
and many more

True. Maybe blizz doesn’t understand the Empires are vastly larger and include a larger swath of territory than a kingdom?

I used Azshara as an example earlier, because she ruled an actual Empire, and ruled over most of the known world at the time.

As did the Zandalari empire at one point in WoWs history

Example, warcraft empires are just kingdoms with a different name.

Thank you for agreeing

No, you are. It’s okay.

Anyway, we should probably wait and see if the Arathi Empire is actually seen ingame before we make any judgement calls on it.

We only have snippets of conversation about what the Empire is like and it’s not enough to really go on or make a full judgement on. We need to see how this Emperor is in person before we can say how they are one way or another

And how blood elf he is.

Not related in any way.

Erevien, we both know how elf like the Arathi are. Their emperor is going to be an elf because they’re all half elves.

I can assure you he will use a slithly advanced human model with pointy ears.

So half elf. Not human, got it. Arator the second.
