Because many of Blizzards workers who play WoW are in those very guilds that sell the carries.
Becoz I call myself Casual. I am done with WoW. My play time is getting smaller and smaller. Looks like I am gonna leave WoW soon.
If I could only go back in time to no life this game. I would carry you … even ask you to join me on Mythic Raid… not this easy Mythic+. You will never be regarded as great player if you didnt do Mythic Raiding.
BTW, those io infor you posted. I am not the one being carried. The keyholder has the lowest score and gear. He could have gotten someone with higher gear and score than me. Why wont he? But I was invited there to help the frail keyholder get his keys on time…

Been here since 2004. 2004 to 2010 was my golden years. I was a WoW addict with no RL. I was a Raider, Dungeon Carrier and PvP’er too. But I cured my addiction my going Casual after Wrath up to now. I am not going back to my no life ways. If you were there during those days and met me, your accomplishment on WoW would be so small compared to mine.
But anyway, I gtg… I have to work.

Me, I would compare you to strong players. You are definitely weaker than Raiimir as a player. Why? Becoz he covers more WoW than you. He is a CE and you are not. You dont have the patience of a CE player. What you play is something you could faceroll over and over.
Just like all the bad players blaming boosts as their reasoning for being unsuccessful.
Pvp is the only place a boost can affect someone.
Pve wise no boosted player is affecting you.

I don’t know if you misquoted me and were talking to someone else or what, but an example was given in the first response in the thread. The rest wasn’t really relevant as a selective quotation that missed the actual point of the post.

Boosting in pve doesn’t hurt anyone nor does it hurt the game. Infact it’s actually healthier for the game.

Ok. I don’t know why you’re posting at me, since that was clearly directed at the OP.
There were no Achievements back then. from Vanilla to Wrath. But I am Lt Commander. I chose Naxx40 over becoming Grand Marshall. I could be Grand Marshall if I chose to be invited to WSG/AB Alliance group back then. But their team is not geared as geared as the Horde whom we want to defeat. I tried to organize a Naxx40 geared players to face High Warlord Team on WSG/AB but ran out of time. TBC came. And we were humiliated 0-3 on our first encounter with High Warlord group although our Killblows and Damage were Massive. It’s the Win that counts not the kills. We decided to just concentrate on PvE. I went to Horde on TBC. But was not happy becoz Horde then sucks on PvE although I had a good chat with High Warlords of Horde on that server.
On Wrath, I didnt get a good team mate on arena. I was ICC-25 geared but my partner friend on PvP was no hardcore like me. I was a DK and he is a Paly. That combo sucks. But I abused Hungering Cold on AV over and over until I got copied.

The truthfully wild part of it is that before if (in-game) you EVER mentioned you bought a carry people would slam you for 24 hours straight. Now, if you say ANYTHING AGAINST PEOPLE THAT PAY FOR CARRIES the entire general chat comes down on your like “how dare you tell them how to spend their money and their time!!!”. The entire mentality of this game has shifted, which is prob why it has like 2 players and some warm gummi bears left playing it lmao

Raiding back then was easy and pretty easy to carry people.

No one cares about people who buy rating.
You just get blacklisted outside of sales runs.
But I am a pioneer of Stratholme 45 min Baron run. I carry PuGs as Warrior Tank on stance-dancing. And a Prot Warrior Raider cant do that job becoz they dont have the skill. If you see a Warrior with complete Tier 0.5 set, he has the skill. You wont complete Tier 0.5 as Prot.
I know it’s grind-fest. But there are stuffs that need skills.
I remember when we were doing 5-man Strat, Scholo when everyone was doing it as 10-man. We were doing 10-man UBRS while everyone else is doing it on 15-man. I remember they were doing 40-man BRD. ROFL.
The dungeon pull needs skill becoz if you pull wrong, you would pull everything. No Warrior knows how to hide on Walls to pull Caster mob back then. I was a pioneer. Warrior on 2H tanking was my specialty then… with Shield and 1H when overwhelmed… I was also kiting mobs… slow them while I ran away for few seconds allowing the healer to catch up on me. But Warriors got nerfed on TBC, that was the time I switched as a Hunter.
With Hunter, easy mode. I trap one target, kite the rest while nuking the main target and still top the damage meters… while wearing Leather armor not Mail armor. That was the beauty of old WoW. So easy. You can have the 2 other DPS’ers AFK while I take care of everything. Freaking noob Hunters back then, cant even handle a single Trap, ROFL.
On Wrath, it’s all about GDKP. It was so easy becoz we just invite rich carried players and kick them later after they spent their gold. GDKP is a carry run that abuse rich players. I was there on GDKP with 2 toons. Nothing special. But there were lots of new players trying to learn the game.
The only thing that was really hard for me then is how to get rid of my WoW addiction. Cata is the time I left WoW although I came back but as a Casual.
Because they dont CARE. They take your monthly sub money, and after that, Meh.
The person who buys carries is in no position to carry anyone.
I wasn’t asking you to no-life play wow. I asked you to run 1 key with me to show me how good you are. All I see is you running away from it.
