this one will take practice. But it needs some fixing.
I think thereās too many wind-flavored visuals going on during that fight - when you add in Storming, itās a bit much. Iād like to see the void zone be a bit more obvious, because i can see why people make mistakes on hereā¦maybe change the color tint or make it darker.
Other than that, the fight is pretty simpleā¦Assad howeverā¦
at the time of Cataclysm, we were moving away from one-shot mechanics and into constant damage and constant healing. The health bar was not a full or zero but a constantly moving bar.
it was quite fun, compared to wotlk content.
Cataclysm had the best heroics the game ever had.
Does Blizzard even test this before they release it. Like get a team together and try out all the content before you throw crap at us thats not tested or fun.
At least heās coming from a place of experience, then. If someoneāa putting in work that hard and still maintaining mechanics are oppressive, Iād be apt to listen.
Itās pretty bad. Not super hard to learn, but justā¦ everything that makes current M+ more annoying than fun. Important and hard to see effects ( the wind ), everything is the same color, constricted space. Not intuitive, you have to learn the fight on wowhead, not in vortex pinnacle.
A change Iām really curious about is in FH, making the Irontide Oarsmans Sea Spout spell a quick uninterruptible cast. Why?
Why do that? Why force additional dance dance from a mob you only find in really constricted spaces with adds all around.
Is the design goal creating as many frustrating forced errors from random occurrences as possible? Is that the āFunā? Phew, we overcame the bad luck of that design. And in both places if you wanted to pull them back to avoid adds, youād have to pull them back on the bridgeā¦ and the way Sea Spout targets makes that a run away and watch fight.
The encounter design seems like cops with a quota of run out circle events they need to make us do.

The OP is literally clearing top keys right now and people doing 2s are saying this. So you know- the OPās lowest key is VP and itās A LOT lower than the other keys. So maybe, just maybe something should be looked at

In the first weeks it would be top keys. Look at your own keys babe, theyāre literally that range. You aināt farming 17-20.
You meanā¦ the keys Iām farming?? Double upgrading 18s?? Timed 20s/a 21 with weekly vault filled with 20? The only keys not timed on a 19 or double upgraded 18 are the dungeons that donāt give me easy vault or gear Iām targeting? Spamming Vortex Pinnacle and Neltharionās Lair 17-19 over and over again for loot? Literally first week or two of patch is spent farming gear lol.

It is. Healers just walk into it with Season 1 gear or their highest key last season being a depleted 22 and call the boss āovertunedā.
Also ppl used to healer being a fourth dps, so healers donāt actually know how to heal.
Healer should be putting out 130k+ hps on that fight in a 20, 150k+ if they donāt have a pally, priest, and/or Druid in the group.

The first boss in VP is harder than the 2nd boss because they added roaming lightning orbs.
You know that this instance existed long before M+, right? I know itās hard to believe, but there was a time when regular/heroic dungeons were actually hard and had mechanics.
Altairus isnāt even that hard of a boss anyway, certainly not the hardest in the dungeon and not even close to one of the hardest this season.
