On her face, she wears

Cuz she knows I’m the king of the cool jerk

She repossesed her own corpse. So does it mean she can turn her corporeal body into smoke?

No. She has the confidence of knowledge that others dont have, as a previous post said, from dark forces no one else understands

For being undead she keeps a clean grill.

You do know that Sylvannas is the “Karen” of WoW. Keep talking about the way she looks and she’ll be talking to your manager!

Sylvanas’ face is the perfect cinematic archetype of “heh, nothin personnel kid.”

She doesn’t literally fit the textbook definition of a mary sue. Guess that means she’s a good and likable character now! Pack up the pitchforks, everyone!

I’m pretty sure they didn’t say that. “Mary Sue” just doesn’t mean what some people seem to think it does. She is as far from Mary Sue as a character can get.

Uh, Come again?

Then why bring it up? Just to be pedantic?

Because…it doesn’t mean what some think it means. Which means they are wrong to call her a Mary Sue.

Remember kids, Sylvannas was stomped by Arthas during the Halls of Reflection dungeon and had her skinny undead butt saved by players.

Her power scale became absurd after that point, with her now being able to cast Finger of Death with no fortitude save.

Same issue happened with Jaina. She went from a powerful mortal archmage to “My frost powers are stronger than those of an elemental lord” in a short amount of time for absolutelly no reason, except the classic HuMAN PoTeNtIaL

So it is pedantry, thanks. Sometimes I forget what the Internet is like, and all it takes is some person ignoring the thrust of a statement to quibble over the definition of words to bring me back.

Whatever helps you sleep at night I guess.

Explaining how she became a Mary Sue does nothing to justify it.

Same to you! Stay litigious, my friend.

I’m beginning to wonder if it is not being used as a vehicle to introduce a new caster class or form of magic for players to use.
