Thank you for bricking my character

Quit now. This game is not for you. It’s too toxic, too unfriendly. You’re just an innocent lamb.

inb4 brainlet tauren talks

I wasn’t aware they had to consult with players before fixing a obvious bug… time to fire those devs.

It wasn’t an obvious bug you brainlet, WOD had level 91 gear with level 100 stats.
That wasn’t a bug.

Seeing how you are resorting to insults, I am right.

This is a bug… but when they release catch up gear like this multiple times in the past over and over those never get nerfed…

All I’m asking for is a little fricken consistency

Your only response was IRRELEVANT

Well, I need to head to work, I work 60 hours a week too, but I don’t need to cheat my way to the top.

Nor did I, Literally leveled to 70 when dragon flight came out on another server. Just wanted to speed this leveling along… so I could enjoy my time playing the game with what I like to do, raiding and mythic dungeons

had gold from when I played previously just made use of it… would it be better if I spent the gold getting plvled 60-70? and then bought raid and mythic keystones?
Oh wait… I simply bought gear that much like in previous expansions has existed as catch up mechanics… Wow Its almost like the moment I hit level 70 I would beable to actually start enjoying my wow sub… which seeing as the level 1-60 experience was recently reduced to take 50% less time it almost like they understand endgame is whats fun.

Imagine talking about people taking the EASY way while you have BOAS on your character. Literally makes rested experience last over twice as long.

Me doing dungeons or quests faster is “cheating” but you using boas to level 60-70 isn’t cheating what? You’re inconsistent.

Just go and do quests… your spells have base attacks high enough to kill mobs of your lvl anyway.

P.S. I just got naked at 70 and killed a bunch of mobs… just don’t tank 3 mobs head-on at a time without cd’s and you should be fine.

Dear OP,

Do an item restore to get your old gear back. You can restore multiple at one time. Then level. Then you’re Gucci with your new starter max level gear.

Run some dungeons as a DPS using the LFG feature. They’re usually extremely easy and the group will not mind if you’re doing almost no damage.
It’s possible you get a couple vote kicks along the way, but not likely to happen often.
You’ll have some gear in no time.

You didn’t really think that kind of gear was intentional, did you? 379? For a lvl 60?

Blaming a user for problems introduced by the developer is the kind of dense mantality I absolutely expect from GD.

I actually had something similar to me happen recently, now that I remember.

A friend of mine was leveling his first character and I wanted to help him. I had an old DK alt I never finished leveling which was around his level, so I decided to queue as tank to make queues shorter for him.

When the first dungeon started I got completely destroyed. Confused, I thought it was a skill issue and tried to chain my defensives and do very careful pulling.

By the end of the run, I got my first piece of loot and realized I had an extremely low iLvl. I was basically a naked tank.

I still tanked my way all the way up until my friend was ready. At first it meant dying often, but soon I was in shape, not using the AH at all.

And that’s as a tank.

Item restoration is a thing blizz offers you can do once a week. Just get the items restored

User is the one that made the brain busting choice to leave no alternative ($$$ for new gear) for themselves after the bug was fixed. That’s on the user.

Exploit early and often, but don’t go down with the ship.

I can’t, as a product designer, explain why you’re wrong without making you look like a total fool.

So I won’t.

You don’t have to, I’m a security professional in devops. I understand access control lists very well.

Yet you didn’t control yourself from saying stupid things online.

A player will use the game to his or her best effect, that seems to be what you put on Blizzard. Is this the first exploitable bug you have seen? What sort of restoration do they usually do?
