It’s funny that in defense of blizzard, these people are saying everyone, new players included, should expect “bugs” around every corner and always be scared to do anything or else you might get screwed. That’s quite a funny defense.

It’s not that you should expect them. It’s that when you look at the evidence it was obvious. Yeah it sucks.
Not only are the amount of people affected low… To implement a fix would cost more time and money than just expecting to level and be done with it.
I mean if you can drop that kind of money just for leveling gear… I’m not buying that you’re suddenly bricked entirely.

Leveling greens are expensive in high demand markets. Players that are new or returning don’t know the ilvl distribution. But yes, to question it would mean they are to expect it.

Tokens exist. And if people buy tokens to gear, or even to replace what was just yoinked from them through NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN, then it is unethical.

Ilvl inflation has become a normal part of wow due to their design.
50k today is nothing like a decade ago. And if you played a decade ago to remember those 15 minute leveling pots in WoD, people will pay obscene amounts of gold to better their character or speed things up. Those pots were pricey.
It’s not my wound. At this point, I am ticked at jerks that seek to mock other players’ misery. I don’t want to be in a game with players like that. I want a healthy game with more players. Example: I had 5 brawls end early last night in a “never-ending” brawl because there was no one queing. We need more players, not jerks. And with jerks around, the former gets ran off.
There’s no excuse to blame the players for blizzard’s screw-up. Which considering this was reported on PTR many times, it was either ignored or intentional and they only changed it once people complained about it in bg’s.

The funny thing is, Restrix is on Tich and I was able to buy all 376 stuff for 10k or less on my Tich alt. On Hyjal, that would have easily cost me 150k for the same stuff. Tich’s AH is amazing…dude had a point but won’t let the bone go.
I clean up my spilled milk and move on, I don’t cry about it for days. Restrix, move on bro.

Hey you big dummy!!! don’t you remember back in the warlords and the draenors they had the gear that was needing your character to only be the level not 92, not 93 not 94 and sure as pooooopy wasn’t level 100. It was level 91 gear IE you’re level 90. Ding once and boom you can wear the gear! OMAZING RaaaaeeeeeeeeGHT???
it had level 100 stats. not even just base level 100 stats Would you believe it Started with Raid finder ilevel and could be upgraded to heroic?!?!
I know crazy right!!! wearing heroic level gear at level 91… Whats even more amazing is they didn’t ever adjust the level… but go figure you try to apply the same logic to… now and shrugs shoulders I should have known they would have nerfed THIS gear even though they didn’t nerf the gear in Draenor… didn’t nerf it in legion nor bfa

Dude, leveling from 60-70 is super fast. I you stopped spamming forum rage and just hit the grind for a day, you’d be 70 and have gear just as good as what you are crying about not being able to wear.

You can do flying WQ for 500g a pop, no combat. Also some other non combat WQ that awards gear. That can easily get you some 343 crafted gear off the AH.
