Oh noooo, this isn’t wod, oh nooooo
Right so what you’re saying is I should trust the history of blizzard having gear like this for multiple expansions… with coming to the conclusion they wouldn’t have nerfed this set for no reason.
because they never nerfed it…
You can overcome this obstacle. I believe in you.
They should have left you the gear tho, only part that’s messed up.
Nerfing it was the part that was messed up. They have years and years and years of having items like this exist and to finally pick now to make the change is inconsistent
Not one set, not two sets not three sets, not four sets but
FOUR sets and weapons and rings and cloaks were all released at level 60… There wasn’t any items that Were 70… Then when they patched it they didn’t even fix all of it, the plate I believe still could be worn by a level 60…
I could also see if they didn’t put ANY level req but they put a required level of 60… This was intended…
If ONE piece of armor was like this it would be understandable but not full on sets
If I was able to, I would make you a basic set of gear to help you a little. But I don’t think that’s possible sadly
I thought I was bad… what a POS thing to say.
Your character is unplayable now?! Maybe this is the wrong game for you. lol
World of retcon
First they retcon lore
then they retcon abuse to employees
Now they retcon our gear
They had years and years of fifty percent secondary stats?
At the risk of calling you a liar… You’re lying
Well aren’t you just special. I mean you “know” everything even when it’s listed otherwise!
Didn’t realize blizzard can turn your character into a brick.
Can we stop using the term “bricking”? It sounds stupid and it just reminds me of “bricked up” which is an entirely different thing altogether.
Ah, the silver lining. At least you’ll have decent enough gear to get you through quests so that you can get upgrades.
Lol, it’s so funny to see so many people complaining about this like they are actually surprised this was hotfixed.
Some seem to need skyrim, with the mod to remove level unlocks on some gear.
Like the nightingale bow and armour. Or dawnblade (iirc), etc.
If you get it too early, its weak. if you get after level X its at full stat power.
So…you jsut level to the final level unlock, run the quest to get the good one.
Or put in the mod to remove that level lock lol.
edit: or run wrath. Its brutal pvp gear at 70 is pretty good to carry up to at least level 78 for the final ten to 80.
Old wow didn’t deprecate gear like retail lol. SOme players are in the wrong version maybe.
Pick up tailoring. That’s what I did.
Pay to win in end game is one thing. Pay to win in level 60-70 bracket is just slimy, sweaty, and greasy all in one. If I were a dev I totally would have trolled your kind.
Ah… classic mistake! SL put an end to the “free ride” of maxing out item level in the previous expansion before you have to get new gear. There was even a patch where the glorious gear could only be enjoyed but for a few measly weeks.
So moral of this story is don’t worry so much about your item level and Heirloom items are a gold sink.
I don’t see why it’s an issue having decent gear for leveling. It’s not like it’s end-game content.
You blew your gold on BOE greens. You didn’t think it was strange that BOE greens at level 60 had an item level that scaled to level 70 gear. You then invoke the weird idea that because sometimes, some item slots can have crafted gear that is much higher than normal that you should get most of a full set of BOE gear that is like that.
You have the achievement for collecting heirlooms. You have better item level than you’re aware of. 3000 gold will still buy you some basic leveling gear.
I don’t know what you’re expecting but there’s absolutely no reason to have gone out of your way to get that gear. It’s a complete waste of gold. It will still get outclassed when you hit level 70. No one will care about what numbers you pull in a level 65 dungeon.
You can either accept things as they are and adapt, or continue whinging about it, but I doubt anything will come from that.
