Also: What kind of ticket did you open? The absolute step one is to secure your account and open a ticket about that. As for timeframe, you’re not the only person playing who opens a ticket. I believe hacked accounts are the highest priority they have though.

If i was speaking to an GM then they didnt read what i said because all they mentioned to me was about the warband bank. I was very clear in what the actual problem was. Within a 4 day time frame theres really no excuse for them to not get me some help.

That is hard to imagine, somebody only reading bits and pieces and not responding fully as you would like.

Yeah it is hard to imagine which is why its upsetting. Theres really no other explanation though other than them sending me a generic AI response. The responses they sent me had nothing to do with the problem I presented them.
And i dont remember that, it was 4 days ago.
You honestly need to put in ticket for a hacked account.

The ticket type is a very big piece of this. The focus has to be on securing the account first and foremost.

I have access to the account and Ive changed the password. I also have two factor authentication which means this should have never been a problem to start with but thats a different topic. My problem right now isnt access to the account its missing currency. Regardless of the topic it was put in as, after 4 days of communicating they should have been able to help me with the issue.

The ticket type matters because obviously there is some confusion. And securing your PC,Email and phone is a big deal.
And since you mentioned having two step authentication. May I ask, do you have anyone else in your home that has access to your PC?
Although it is possible to bypass the two step authentication. It is rare, the more common issue would be someone else physically accessing your PC.

There’s precisely two things that are possible here.
- You got hacked.
- Something else has happened to your currency on every character across 2 separate game modes.
One of those is much more likely than the other. Even if it is the second of those however, you would need to submit a ticket in each game, I am fairly certain that a retail in-game issue ticket would not aid you in classic. Trying to combine two in-game issues in different games will just confuse the situation.

Well, in that case, I would certainly put in the correct type of ticket and with any luck they will be able to assist you. And for the record. Having gold or items restored after a account compromise is not a guarantee.

Guys its pretty simple. I got hacked. They took my gold from both accounts. It would be very easy for a GM to just open my logs and see that. Theres no excuse for Blizzard here. The point of this thread is to explain how bad my experience with the customer support is. And if the two of you are not Blizzard employees then that justifies my post even more seeing as how two random people are monitoring the forum trying to give advice and the blizzard customer support actually hasnt done anything at all to help

This is primarily a player to player support forum, so yes, not Blizzard employees are trying to help. Often a blue will come along and offer some tips, but it’s not a way to get tickets processed quicker.
As others have suggested, make sure you have the correct type of ticket in, and make sure your information about the situation is clear. Try to leave out extra words that can confuse the issue. In the end, proving a hack vs I told my friend to log in from another location to take my gold so I can get it returned to me isn’t always as easy as it sounds, which is one of the reasons why having everything returned isn’t guaranteed. In the end, it’s your responsibility to secure your account, not theirs. But they will do what they can.
If they close your ticket, re-open it with the option like my issue wasn’t resolved or whatever the wording is for that.

If you got hacked, you need to open a ticket specifically for your account being hacked. That does not guarantee that your items are recovered, however.
This is a player help forum, as Varidra said. Primarily it is to guide people through the ticket and support systems.
