Temporarilly remove the instance limit in TBC

Mine probably will too. Maybe they’ll lift it at the start so we can dungeon grind to our heart’s content. It only benefits blizz to do so.

Then go quest in the world for awhile.

Switch to a different instance that takes you longer then. Blood Furnace, or Slave Pens.

Or just go out into the world. If you really bang out your 30 instances in 6 hours, then you’ll definitely be ahead of the curve and can just skip to a different zone.

If the servers are progression servers and not fresh, you can save up enough quest turn in stuff to get to like 63/64 and skip Hellfire if that’s all you’re worried about. Then come back and get the rep later once you hit 70. If they ARE fresh, then there won’t actually be crowding in Hellfire anyway.

Instance limits hurt actual players a lot more than bots, it was a very lazy way to deal with botting, and was basically catering to a select few on forums who suggested it. It ticked off quite a few people and blizzard just doubled down twitter style and basically told them if they didn’t like it to just quit or whatever. I still play casually, mostly waiting for TBC, but I still have a bitter taste in my mouth for the devs who decided adding in the instance limit was a good idea, as well as quite a bit of disdain for those that supported it.

it honestly doesnt matter which dungeon it is… good players will utterly destroy the normal version of these dungeons and will hit the 30 limit cap well before 24 hours have been reached.

this is how I want to play, this is how i should be able to play and was able to play back in the real TBC.

blizzard forcing me to level how they wanted me to level, like how they do in retail, is a big reason why retail is trash.

Anyone hitting the 30 instance limit seriously needs to take a break anyways

Besides if youre simply trying to rush 70 youre sort of wasting your time anyways, 60-70 leveling isnt a priority there are far more important things to rush for

I’m an actual player and it doesn’t hurt me at all. Blizzard said it only affects a small hand full of players. Your understanding of how the vast majority of players play this game is seriously skewed. It’s braindead to think blizzard did it to appease a few people on the forums who suggested it.

I twink low level characters for fun and PvP on them, because end game vanilla PvP is too time consuming with the ranking system. I enjoyed farming low level instances like SFK for boe items I could sell, and green items to sell as well. I could pull the mobs using a specifically specced and geared shaman main in like 15 minutes per run. I would do this for a day or two straight sometimes on off days from work to make gold, and it was fun because my character was specifically designed for that dungeon farm. I would run into the instance limit eventually after the change was implemented, and my only alternative would be to level ANOTHER main and do the same work in regards to speccing and gearing him, just so I could log over and avoid the cap.

Meanwhile botters already have a bunch of accounts, that they powerlevel themselves, or buy online. So yeah, I am a minority of the playerbase that was specifically affected by the limit. And there are others like myself, just not a ton of us. But the limit was a half butt attempt to curtel botting, and there could have been alternate ways to do that but it would have cost blizzard more money or time spent implementing them, they chose an easy fix, and pretty much ignored the backlash.

‘‘Don’t you guys have 2 level 60’s?’’ (Don’t you guys have phones) lol.

And most of the ‘‘Support’’ We see on forums of the limit, derives mostly from the loathing of mage boosters. Even though they weren’t the only ones affected. If boosting wasn’t a thing perhaps people would look at the issue differently and actually see that limiting what we can do with our free time is a poor idea. But nowadays people seem to be fine with that kind of thing, in online games, as well as real life. They just roll over and accept it, when 15 years ago businesses couldn’t get away with it.

careful guy, if we do something they dont do then we are wrong and should let blizzard roll us over in our graves

So it’s absolutely necessary to remove the caps. Gotta get to 70 before any of the dad gamers actually even log in.

I don’t care about getting 70 before you.

I care about having the best experience for ME.

and for me that means grinding dungeons with my friends. which I will not be able to do to its full potential if blizzard doesnt remove the dungeon cap.

I care about getting to 70 before you, though. Eat my dust, loser.

I agree with removing the caps, for what it’s worth, but not just temporarily; permanently.

OK, you’re one of the few affected. Blizzard can’t create special versions of the game for every special little snowflake that gets butt hurt. Have you noticed how many people are crying for their own special version of wow? Suck it up and adjust or quit.

spoken like a solo player who doesnt care about anyone but themselves.

Instances in TBC can’t really be solo’d while leveling up.

Please god lift the stupid cap. :stuck_out_tongue:

You have to hit the 5 runs per hour for 6 hours to hit the cap. 4 runs per hour for 7.5 hours to hit the cap. 3 runs per hour for 10 hours to hit the cap.

I just really don’t see a problem for the average player.

And oh, the I have to level to 70 by spamming dungeons in TBC is not the average player.

I run dungeons all the time. It’s my favorite part of the game. And I never sit afk at the entrance while getting boosted on any of the characters. Like the vast majority of players I never hit 30 dungeons a day. You’re not special no matter how many times mommy told you you were and you don’t get your special version of wow. Just like the other people who want their special version, no multiboxer version, hardcore versions, no boosting version, etc. I can’t believe the sense of entitlement youngsters today have. Grow up, adjust, or quit.

wow, solo player and a blizzard shill. you are the perfect customer for them

Classic is already a special version of WoW.

Zoomers gonna zoom. And then they’ll be the first to complain when they run out of content and are raid logging and bored as f waiting on the next phase.
