Blizzard for the love of Bronzebeard’s bronze beard add it the argument against it is weak it would absolutely destroy botting and RMT.
Moar threads about this please.
so if you buy a wow token, you’re trading real money for gold.
how would a wow token destroy RMT? just curious
The same way that adding a bot software subscription would destroy botting.
Did this work in retail? Last I looked there’s more bots and RMT is more common than in classic. Guess if you’re into botting and RMT add it in.
No, it didn’t. People just like to pretend that it did.
I don’t know when was the last time you looked but that is definately not true.
Third party RMT do I need to explain things to you like you’re a 5 year old?
you don’t have to explain things that don’t make sense
just like it did in retail…oh wait…
Post on a retail toons let’s see when was the last time you actually played.
Please stop posting. This guy is an obvious low effort troll. Move along.
It makes no sense to RMT on retail when you can just buy a token and go through legitimate channels. The sooner they implement it to classic the better things will be unfortunately the people arguing against it refuse to acknowledge the good it would do by saying buzzwords or using debunked arguments like it’ll inflate the economy or make gold worthless which is if you’ve been playing Classic for more than a week something that is known to be wrong.
the only argument necessary is that it is “legal” RMT, which basically kills any point of an MMO. botting and RMT is a huge problem in retail still and if you cant see that, you’re blind.
Yes, OP!!!
TBC WoW token literally destroys RMT and allow casual players to buy gold for few things they do.
Fine. We are engaging the low effort troll.
There’s no sense to RMT when you could just… RMT. Right. Got it.
Kills any point of an MMO? Explain? Botting and RMT are far far less of an issue on retail as they are on classic retail’s biggest problem is bad content.
What is going to prevent botters from undercutting the token price?
It’s just going to lead to more people buying gold in 2 different ways.
The only course of treatment is for them to invest more in managing their game. Which they obviously won’t and don’t even want to do.
How is RMT less of an issue in retail… if you can buy a token?
You know… Trading Real Money (RMT) for gold. Or Trading gold for Real Money (Token)
RMT that’s in violation of EULA vs buying tokens are two very different things. One sends the profits to a company that makes the game we play the other sends its profits to the botters you keep bringing up. How is this difficult to comprehend?
