TLDR from naysayers, Shamans can’t tank but you also don’t need a tank for 90% of heroics
I like how it’s too extreme for shamans to be tanks, but we’re going to just say screw having a tank in general as far as Heroics are concerned.

Couldn’t tell you, I play with actual tanks who know how to hold threat. Hasn’t been an issue.
But can they breakdance?
Not so much for breakdancing, they do really aggressive ballet.

Ooof 48m Shadowlabs, not anything I’d consider an achievement. Though, same issue. The 4+ pack pulls if you look at aggro, mages have it all and are kiting. shrug
Affirms the point being made by most here, while you can “tank” as a shaman. You have to tailor a specific group to it, you have to have slows to kite for you. Its far less efficient. A warrior with less gear is better at maintaining threat and surviving, and shamans do not scale from here.
Just call it what it is, 4 DPS 1 Healer. Because that is what it is.

Sorry to break your fantasy world up, but I’ve kited bosses before because I’ve ripped off WAAAY to much aggro. FD resist but guess what, Hunters are awesome at kitiing and this is an easy AF game.
I don’t immodestly exclude that the tank didn’t do their job. Did the boss die? Cool, we completed the objective of the game. Anything else is irrelevant or set standards by someone trying to feel value in some arbitrary way.
It’s always something with you isn’t it? Unless a Shaman tank is breaking world records “tHeY dOnT cOuNt!” Pathetic.

Yes, yes shaman meat shields are. Dungeon would of went faster when an improper geared tank at lvl68.
Show me a shaman tanking a single heroic without a death like every other tank spec, then we can talk.

I’ve had this guy on ignore for months. He doesn’t actually read anything anyone ever posts. Ever. He’s a but like Norse where he continually retreats to his original presupposition no matter what is told him or shown him.
“Obligatory naysayer” is what I like to call them. They’ll disagree for the sake of disagreeing and repeatedly double down on their misinformation.
We’ve already made several acknowledgements as to the capability of Wardens and both parties have acted like nothing is said at all. At that point, it’s just fun to poke fun at them because any other gesture has shown itself to be a waste of time.
As a reminder, anyone whose standard for success allows for dead DPS has set no standard at all and isn’t worthy being treated seriously.
