Yes to Dual Specs. I agree.
+1
I agree with this statement
We need this so bad, being garbage in PVP so i can PvE sucks. Being garbage in PvE so i can pvp is also garbage.
Respeccing constantly to do these things is absolute flaming garbage.
Fixed it for you. You don’t need dual spec. It’s a want.
True.
I want the game to be improved in this way.
And I personally don’t want dual specs as I recognize how it harms the game. The gold costs of respecing is part of the constant gold sink provided by not having dual spec.
comment for the algorithm
Bruh, if you want a gold sink, become an Engineer
+1 for this change, I welcome changes
I am an engineer, but gold sinks effect the entire economy, not one player.
Do you know how gold sinks work?
We don’t need a dumb gold sink in respecing just like Blizzard decided that there needs to be no queue times for pvp BGs despite what faction you play.
Not having dual spec keeps players from enjoying the game.
Not having dual spec encourages people to play the game to get gold to respec.
Gold is far easier to get than in vanilla classic and it wasn’t a problem then.
We don’t even have most of the dailies yet and those make raw gold farming even easier.
Having Dual Spec encourages people to help their friends by playing other roles, including tanking. You’re arguing that people should instead spend their time grinding gold by themselves instead of playing with friends. Dual Spec encourages people to take part in more of the game, instead of logging off because solo grinding gold for an hour every time they want to respec is a dreadful prospect.
Can someone produce me a TL:DR version of what the key arguments are against Dual Spec?
Is the only argument that we need a gold sink? I thought the more Gold Sinks we have, the more Gold Farmers appear. Let’s be honest, 90% of the population probably buys gold
I care that it wasn’t.
- it wasn’t in TBC
- wait till wrath
- go back to retail
I don’t know if I can justify giving Blizzard my money by the time Wrath comes out =(
BC is turning out to be a huge disappointment and cash grab
You don’t have to respec to party and do things with friends.
You can open world farm, do dailies together (especially once more are released), you can do normal dungeons without having to respec (even heroics depending on gear and group skill/comp), exc. And all of these can generate gold.
You don’t have to grind gold for hours on end. Heck let’s say you do the cooking and fishing daily then respec tank for the normal and heroic dungeons dailies. By the time you finish those 4 dailies you have generated about 75-100g between quest rewards on the dailies, vendor loot drops, and raw gold from the dungeons. That is without even having the other dailies in game yet. And that’s assuming you didn’t get any gear drops to DE or vendor.
If you’re not farming AT ALL then yes respecing twice a day will slowly eat your gold, but if your doing the dailies currently available to us (which is almost none of them) and respecing at 50g twice a day, your losing at most 25g a day. Can you not farm 25g a day with how much raw gold drops in tbc? From vendor trash? Or you can use the AH to make gold.
Having herbalism or mining can make that daily dungeons run even more profitable based on professions and the dungeon. Or even enchanting to DE unneeded blues and greens. Heck engineering has some farm clouds in certain dungeons.
You don’t need to farm gold for hours. Your just refusing to PLAY the game.
If you don’t wa t to play tbcc that’s fine, but that means you should find a different game to play, not morph tbcc to fit your agenda.
I don’t have the time to do it right now, but I will later if I get the chance.
Forget dual spec. lower the max respec fee to 10, 20 or 25g. Something more reasonable than 50g. Its not a big deal to respec, but the gold cost is prohibitive which reduces the fun of the game. Its almost the same thing as raid logging with world buffs in classic, it keeps you from playing the game.
Keep bumping for us. At least it refreshes that devs will notice that Dual Spec threads are being on the first page.
