TBC Dual Spec

The sweetness comes from the gameplay, and disabling some gameplay does not make the remaining gameplay any “sweeter”. Happiness is seen without sadness in many instances and many people. There are lots of games that are fun that don’t have this “sadness” BS. I’ll agree that some of the quirks and problems are what give the game its charm, but this isn’t one of them. It’s the quirks that enable additonal styles of gamplay or options that are charming, not the ones that hinder you. Wall jumping is fun not because you’re breaking the game code, but because it’s another gameplay vector to explore. Retail isn’t retail because of QoL stuff, it’s retail because of the homogenization and gutting of the game. QoL didn’t destroy the talent trees, QoL didn’t dumb down mechanics.

heh there has never been such a person that did not know at least a minute of sadness.

the whole point i am making is the fact that without lower points in the game the highs wouldnt seem so high.

without work and struggles the payoff and relief arent as wonderful.

its a hard point to understand for some and for others it is all too evident .

wtf are you talking about? how is class identity at risk if a holy paladin wants to swap to ret for some dailies.

Or if a bear tank wants to swap to resto for some arenas?

Say you’ve got half an hour to go and do some stuff in game, like dailies or a quick dungeon, but then I’ve got my raid later for the spec I’m needed as.

The gold cost is an annoyance, the time to go and click the same 51 buttons over and over is just tedious and you people who think alleviating that are mentally damaged.

Lol yeah the people against dual specs are 100% people who either suck balls at pvp or have never done arena

I 150% agree #DualSpec in tbc I think it would be a good change keyword good change.

And the reality is the worst change that blizzard could possibly make they’re already doing so the way I see it if we can get some good changes in there as well I would just be happier.

It doesn’t hurt the game That speaking Room some of that played back then I would have been very happy for it.

Plain and simple the good outweighs the badge if there is any Which quite frankly I think is miniscule at best.

So I say #Dual spec for tbc

dual spec should have been in classic. The no changes retard force made classic into a toxic pool of crap. They didn’t understand the game meta and were crying half way though about things that should have been changed. It will be no different in TBC.

If you guys get dual spec, then BLIZZARD - I really want player housing and guild halls!! /smile

honestly, I hate dual spec talent… I work so hard on toons to give them personality and their own story lines just to have someone come in and introduce Dual Spec Talent to the game, then it like shoot! what do I do with two toons that pretty much could be identical except for professions… Hate it , hate it, hate it!!

I will literally walk from 1-70 and buy no mount ever just to have duel spec at the Wrath 1K price!! After all, we already know that in 2 years Wrath will come out, and we know that it will have later patch QoL updates at launch. They are already talking about adding the 2.3 XP nerf at launch for a QoL. Might as well add duel spec now instead of making us wait 2 years.

No

Double No.
Why are there always smooth brains in here asking for negative changes to something that could be very good for the game??

dual spec isnt good for tbc, easy to see how it will just be everyone swapping every spec to make their raid go faster. 50g, or 100g if you want to count going back, is hardly a drop in the bucket for how much gold people are taking into tbc and with all the daily quests giving ~7g each gold will be very easy to come by.

theres already addons that pretty much do dual spec for you in classic currently you just have to visit the trainer and pay for a respec.

if it were to come in it would need a 10k price tag on it and tbh that isnt even enough. should be higher

People using an addon to improve QOL is a pretty good argument FOR that improvement. Weird how you thought that was somehow a deterrent.

you pay for the respec and its done ina major city, not on the fly out in the world or right before a boss inside a raid

Retail players are so entitled.

I disagree; your talent specialisation is supposed to be a choice you make which has a penalty, so you cannot simply be a prot tank then become a fury warrior with the press of a button without some kind of opportunity cost. The only form of dual spec i could see is having a second spec for arena zones only.

If anything, the cost of respeccing should increase.

The more ‘quality of life’ improvement you wish to introduce to the game, the closer it will become to retail.

And how does that benefit the player base as a whole? More tanks are needed for 5 man’s than raiding. So by making it more cumbersome to swap specs, you’re less likely to have more players doing content.

I get it. Retail is a garbage fire. I agree. But just because some changes happened on the way to that trash heap, doesn’t mean all changes are bad.
