Sorry ,they do that already. They started that not long ago what the difference?
It’ll be RNG to see it on the vendor that changes 2x a week. But Gushing Wounds 1 is the most point efficient DPS per corruption point for most DPS specs.
No it is not.
The mere fact the devs haven’t responded to the questions about echoes on alts, combined with their rather ominous warning to buy any essences you haven’t already makes me believe they are going to reset echoes tomorrow. You heard it here first.
From what I read so it is to me as well ,had to look that one up really ? I think I’ll just wait til SL to do anything important .This isn’t worth a headache on.
I bet mythic raiding is looking better to people now, huh?
Think about the childrens blizzard! Reset the currency since mains have zero echoes so far! Make it fair.
Doesn’t seem a big deal to me, it’s mostly just hoarding the currency to buy it when it posts.
There’s people with 20-40k saved up… who haven’t done anymore activities than the rest of us mains, it’s just that because of some arbitrary shortsighted decision with the coding they got to bank up echoes while those of us who already had all our essences didn’t… We may have done dozens of raids, hundreds of mythic+ and arena, tons of visions etc, and we still have 0. Even with 5x… 40k is several weeks work (if I told you to go earn 6000 echoes in the next few days today, well goodluck to you haha). They get to be several weeks ahead, while mains get screwed. In what world is this fair?
Even more importantly. There’s also the huge advantage people with 40k stockpiled get with a rotating vendor. They will already have the currency they need whenever the corruptions they want come up on the vendor in the first few weeks. Those who are expected to catch up to people with 40k… which will still take weeks with 5x, might not have enough currency when the corruptions we want is live on the vendor. If so sucks to be you… gotta wait a few more weeks probably for it to rotate back in. So this could put us extra weeks behind.
They’ll fix that like they did with the titan resdium ,they’ll make it harder to obtain and inflate the price.I 'm storing it.
So this is great and all, but I have a small problem with it. I’ve been doing these invasions with my main, and haven’t gotten a single Echo of Ny’alotha… Now, suddenly even though I could have been earning them and haven’t been, they are valuable. Any chance we can get that addressed? Will I even be able to earn them on my main when this change does live?
If the corruption that can be bout where BoA that would help but would not fix the fundamental problem
Ummm-mythic cache items are always corrupted? If they don’t have any on it now, then you cleansed them, and will not be able to use them to add corruption to now.
Guarantee they put Ineffable Truth in the first rotation and we won’t see it again for weeks. Blizzard’s war against effort continues.
why do people keep saying they are behind on something that hasnt even happened yet.
Should be saying, now i feel like im behind because the last catch up mechanic was for alts to get essences faster…
FYI Blizzard is pushing most of the changes tomorrow, but the Corruption Vendor is still “in final testing phase” and will come later. Hotfixes list:
So glad they apparently aren’t taking feedback from us starting at zero before pushing this stuff. Good hunting!
Some of my friends have 40K echoes. W/ the prices they listed. They can automatically buy 3-4 pieces. And each of those ‘steps’ is like a golden goose in terms of power gain.
Gonna feel great if gushing is on the first rotation and ppl with 40k saved up buy a full gushing set while the rest of us with 0 despite doing tons of activities that should have earned them don’t have enough to buy more than 1~ before it rotates out because we get screwed for actually having all our essences… Then it’ll probably be weeks before it rotates on the vendor again. Just example of the fun fairness not reseting can get us…
Yes, but you aren’t getting Echoes at five times the rate when you’re multiplying everything’s costs by that exact same factor.
If you get 100 Echoes from something today it’s the same as getting 500 Echoes from something tomorrow.
This feels like false advertising. You’re just bloating the numbers. You aren’t making it any easier to get Echoes of Ny’alotha if you’re just cutting their value by 80% in the process.
By increasing gains and costs by a factor of 5, they are effectively devaluing any stockpiled echos we have currently.
Some of the outliers who have 30-40k stockpiles will still be able to completely kit out their toon from the jump provided their corruptions are on the vendor, but for the average person I’d say this balances the scales as well as possible without a hard reset or getting into unreasonably high numbers.
Though, I’d much rather the vendor didn’t have a rotating stock. That way people who missed out on the stockpiling won’t have to wait like a month for their corruption to come back around after the mad dash to catch up.
