Targeted Corruptions and Faster Cloak Empowerment

That could be an issue. They should just make the research account wide or increase the drop rate

Did you even read my first reply that you replied? Was I complaining main won’t get echo in the future? I was pointing out, in terms of echo wise, not everyone is being given a fair chance currently as well as the moment purchasable corruptions become available.

I approve. Kinda wish this is how it started, but better late than never. Thank you!

So people that has accumulated echoes by not using them is punished? No No.

100% yes. Any of these options would be a good solve.

Why should you be rewarded for accumulating echoes by not using them for what they were supposed to be used for?

Yeah, just reset the currency or better yet, get rid of additional currencies from the game. Just like they have with residiums each patch.

Why not go the extra mile and tune corruption as well? Or just remove garbage ones like avoidance since no one uses them. Typical blizzard move to cut a corner and double down on a crap system and not even take the time to continue tuning it correctly. It’s a joke in pvp and it’s about to be a joke in pve.

and yet he is the one saying ppl needs better public education.

I think avoidance is kind of fun on my alts, idk.

So people that farmed all R3 essences before the currency dropped and couldn’t get any currency is punished? No No.

What about echoes accumulated because you have no essence to buy to your main because you already got all essences you wanted for him.

This is a really great point. I hope they see this. My alts tend to be severely gimped until the Elite Extermination.

I’m glad I unsubbed from the game. This is a disaster!

Then better find a solution to both.

Seems like a really dumb system.

So I’ll be able to grind for and buy Twilight Devastation III on my alt… but meanwhile mains aren’t even eligible for this currency so I’ll never get it on my main.

That really sucks.

This is a completely unrelated system though, I’ve had all my essences before the currency was even introduced so haven’t been able to acquire the currency. Why should you get an advantage over me in buying corruptions because you didn’t have all the essences?

One way to help is to not make corrupted low level blues when a new 120 is trying to gear up.

This character has in his bags:

  • A level 335 ring with 35 corruption. (Is there anyone at 335 ilevel doing the content to cleanse this?)
  • A level 355 ring with 75 corruption.
  • A level 385 weapon with 35 corruption. This one hurt. I couldn’t use it in place my of 325 polearm. Fortunately a world quest emissary reward yesterday had a 410 weapon I could use and it wasn’t corrupted.
  • A level 410 belt with 20 corruption. I think over 400 is when it’s acceptable to start getting corrupted items.

I’ve mostly given up on gearing this character because every other blue I get is unusable due to corruption. I’ve given up on the rest of content and just watch for world quests upgraades to get me in a better place for leveling Shadowlands.

Then you didn’t need the currency just like how I didn’t need the currency because I had all the r3 essences in the first place.

Either do what they did to Titan Risiduum or just make a new currency.

Truth be told @blizzard, this is how the system of corruption should have been in the first place.

We all know you want us on the hamster wheel, appeasing your activation overlords. However what you fail to realise is that instead of hiding your intentions behind RNG system all you needed to do was implement this system. We all will happily get on the hamster wheel.

But no you went with RNG and I can tell you opening that weekly chess/doing a weekly 5mask and seeing T3 avoidance for healer is HUGE disincentive to play on your hamster wheel.

Please remember this for shadowlands!
