You can still play the game without the BiS corruption. You made a choice to only play one toon, and have had as many advantages in your favor this expansion. Finally someone else has some arbitrary perceived advantage and you are upset? So its fine when you have the advantage, not when you don’t. Hmmm…
he lives in planet earth like everyone else. what planet do you live that allows u to say things before proper thinking? My main toon has 0 echo too, would you like to see a photo proof?
Do you even realize how much gameplay you need to do to get 40K? 2 days? Are you being serious?

Fail - I have not been able to earn a single Echo on my main that is the only toon I can play. Why do something this failed?

Another vote to please figure out a way to give the Echoes to mains that have all essences. It makes no sense that we havent been earning them. My friend that happens to have a tank spec on his DH has 25,000 Echoes because he only plays Havoc. However one of his alts had a r3 tank essence…so he has been earning them all along. I have a mage so I am screwed. Please consider a way to give us currency we should have been earning all along, or just create a new one for the Corruptions so we are on a level field.

Please, be an April Fool’s joke. Response #540 here, reporting in, to complain about something which I feel strongly. I purchased/rolled all of my corruptions and cloak levels (on 5 alts) the hard way, when I should have just waited for the whole process to be nerfed.
I am disgruntled.

Today is 5/18.
That’s over 4 months from patch release (could get corrupted gear) and 3 days away from 4 months since the raid has been out.

How can we earn Echoes on my main when we already have lvl 3 essences? This must be a horrible mistake, you mean it is for gold, not echoes?

This is ENTIRELY incorrect. I have multiple 120s. My main is just a dps only class that has all r3 essences. So I havent been earning them even though I do have 11 x 120 alts that I play all the time.
Clearly I do nothing on this character.

I have 6 120s, and all toons have Echoes…so you did something wrong. Sucks for you but thems the breaks. You aren’t hurt from it, you can earn them after they patch your issue, and can earn them like everything else. It isn’t unfair, its just the breaks.
How do you even get echos on your main when you have lvl 3 of everything already? So you punish mains? You are the guys who already hate alts and now I have to have alts to earn them? Make up your mind. This should be for the minor gold value, no new currency. Did you devs not get the memo that we are sick of new currencies all the time?

you called a design flaw which never gave main toon a chance to work on an advantage? Interesting. and you can play w/o bis corruption hell you can even play w/o gear. that’s 0 for gaming experience versus 100 gaming experience with BIS. In a system that’s suppose to improve everyone’s experience, you choose to ignore? again interesting
With this much negative feedback against it I’m sure they will give enough echoes to everyone for at least 1 rank 3 of your choosing.
On legion they did something like this when their mythic + system was messed up.
The system is already awful enough regardless.
You just dont understand how it works. If your alts dont have an r3 essence that your main doesn’t, then your main doesn’t earn Echoes.
