And my main has 0 echoes because I had rank 3 essences for everything before echoes ever became a currency.
– I can’t believe that developers didn’t realize this when this was coming down the pipeline. Having the players issue acknowledged is a good start. Just say “Yea, we know this sucks for mains, but we felt the 5x was enough.”

I bought three vessels and have them on my character. Can I have a refund for them?
as someone who just started the patch a week ago, this pleases me.
When I spent time getting all those essences on my 8 120s, I didn’t have time to do other things so other people got ‘ahead’ of me on those other things. And when they brought in echoes, they caught up to me on alts in a faction of the time but I wasn’t able to catch up to them on the other things they were doing because those weren’t made into easy mode.
I think it would be fair if corruptions were purchasable with Mementos instead.

And overnight blizzard flips the BOE market.
Suddenly your non-corrupted 475 BOEs are worth millions and your corrupted BOEs are trash (unless you hit the RNG on that perfect mastery three ring).
LMFAO did anyone who actually plays this game think through this change at all? Or is blizz just throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks?

This is just unnecessary and stupid. The other changes are great, but you increasing these arbitrarily for NO reason aside from you wanna make the other stuff available for the same resource is just asinine. It essentially punishes players to do more for the same thing others have now for less. Again, other changes, cool, that change though is stupid. Stop breaking fun, it is like you guys cannot make good changes without bad ones in tow just for shiggles…

I don’t care if they do this. I just don’t want to lose the echoes I have. Actually in fact that might be a better currency to use because it competes directly with sockets.

It sure is great that they came out with this when I’m at rank 14.
This does not answer the question for how badly you’re shafting people over who have been playing the game, who have all their rank 3s, and continued to play the game while gaining ZERO currency. I don’t know why the thought process is “this is great” when you’re just screwing over a portion of your playerbase who have been playing the game and who have been participating in the content. Tell me, why should I continue to invest time into a game when you’re just going to find a way to screw me over again in 2 months? This is honestly worse than during Dazar’alor when you did selective handouts back to select classes because certain pairs of shoulders couldn’t drop from the residuum random token.

Can Blizzard just NOT develop something without screwing part of the players and without randomness? Players who only play MAIN is screwed because they don’t have echoes. And those who were stacking up echoes can get whatever they want tomorrow. How does 5x help those 0 echo players?? And this twice per week refresh, could you please tell me what’s the point? Again whoever have tens of thousands of echoes can get gushing wounds, and those who only play MAIN? Oh good luck with your 5x speed getting the echoes.

I was wanting them to allow us to open the tree in the heart forge quicker with more mementos. I hope its not a long grind to get them during this process. I just want the mount and 5 masks and few rares that have mounts.
