Targeted Corruptions and Faster Cloak Empowerment

Unfortunately, that’s your fault for choosing to not do content. For you to have ZERO echoes you have had to do the following:

No Emissaries
No Assaults
No Horrific Visions
No M+ for the weekly chest
No raid bosses
No battlegrounds

I’m not sure what you do on your “main” but unless it’s 100% of your game time RPing then that’s on your brother.

Because people have stockpiled many thousands of them on alts. This is their way of doing a compromise of not completely invalidating the farming from alts while not making people freak out over their mains being months behind on their corruption purchasing power.

If they reset, then they should remove all the essences you bought on your off spec as well. Why should you keep what you earned if the other player loses what they earned.

You’re dense. You get 0 echoes if you have every essence possible at rank 3.
Look at my gear
Look at my neck
Look at my logs
You honestly think I don’t do emissaries/assaults/visions/M+/raid/bgs?

mains with all the essences unlocked don’t receive echoes brother

You have no clue of what he’s talking about don’t you?
If you have all rank 3 you couldn’t earn any echos.
Which means the game is giving an advantage to people that didn’t do the content.
Which doesn’t make sense.

So you make the corruption vendor use a different currency.

  1. You don’t punish players who played your content as intended from day 1.
  2. You don’t punish alts by increasing costs 5x from something they could have right now.

Not to mention the fact that people who have been actually running every Vision they can to be able to socket all their gear for progression or parses, or M+ pushes, etc. are going to be penalized for having used those Coalescing Visions, while people that were lazy and have 1-2 sockets on their gear when they could have 10+ at this point are rewarded.

Terrible implementation of this system. It should be delayed until some common sense can be applied to it.

As of yesterday, I have all Rank 3 essences on my blood DK. I did the Vulpera emissary today and got 50 echoes. Maybe a bug - but I did. Unless of course it counts the healing essences on my dk, but I’m not sure why it would.

I mean, that’s my complaint too. (previous post)

do you really not know how much money they make from tokens !!!

The game gave the advantage to people who didn’t do the content last patch when they brought the echoes in. I spent time earning essences on 8 120s and people who sat and just QQ wanting account wide essences did nothing and then got them easy mode.

Also, you aren’t even really correct. The people who have the echoes actually did do the content, they just didn’t spent it.

Clearly you’re clueless as to how the echoes work. After a character has purchased all rank 3 essences available to your account, the amount of echoes acquired is precisely 0.

fire mages are about to get lit :fire:

I’m just speaking from personal experience. I received 50 today after buying the last rank 3 essence, Blood of the enemy, yesterday.

Edit: I acknowledged above that it may be a bug.

First off thank you for these changes. Second please make it so we can corrupt items that we removed corruption from. The 475 gear i get is from the weekly chests if it has bad corruption it gets cleansed or scrapped. Giving us the option to cleanse and put a better corruption on the item would make it all worth it.

You probably overcapped, which is why. I had all ranks 3 before the echoes went out.

This is trash… start over! costs are way to high just as the cost of Azerite gear. Your average person won’t event get close to that. this is blizzard give more crap to Method who are paid to play the game. This is the end of the expansion Cutting Edge has already been closed for both factions how are you planning to keep us engaged 6+ months till next expansion.

Yeah if this doesn’t get fixed we’ll all be running around in 465 gear we were able to corrupt lol

That’s definitely possible.
