If there is a technical limitation preventing cleansed items from being recorrupted how on earth do people expect to be give echoes retroactively

It isn’t good for alts either. Right now you could get echoes without doing that legendary cloakline. Now you HAVE to do it before you can start earning them.

I think the drop rate for mythic+ needs to be increased at least a little bit looking at the current pricing, it is much too low. (currently looking at 15 echos per key level) assuming the standard x5 formula is applied.
If you were to attempt to grind out twilight dev rank III for example it would take around 60 mythic+ runs (between +15-+17). 60 mythic+ is easily 48 hours of game time which is way too long if this is considered at all a reasonable farming method.
Echo drops from mythic+ runs and the weekly chest should be doubled when these changes go through as this will also help the mains who are super gimped by not having a stockpile of echos already.

Thank you for implementing this but I feel really disadvantaged by already having rank 3 on all my essences thus never having the ability to earn echos in the first place on my main (my only mythic prog character). How is this fair and is anything going to be done to compensate or equal the playing field?

And it feels like you’re trying to downplay an obvious design flaw. If the game entourages and rewards people who have purposely not completed R3 essences and punished people who went out of their way to complete their essences, that’s a fundamental flaw in the system.

yeah, got really tempted with this past month with alts with the rep+echo combo going but I’ve realized that I’ve wasted a bit of time. Should have been finishing up M+ achievement and other things before its gone in shadowlands
I remember when Echos first came out and I logged in to my alts first, only to get the blue post saying “too bad you didn’t log in to your main first.”
Now my main who hasn’t be eligible for any echos is going to get the blue post “too bad you’re up to date, time to let others have an edge” lol
Honest couple of questions: Why does everything you implement in BfA have to be so convoluted and overtly complicated, and will the team maintaining BfA be involved in Shadowlands? Because if so good lord.

The game rewarded those that sat on their butt before and QQ about essenses and punished the people who actually spent time earning when they brought the echo system in. I got essences the original way on about 8 120s.

Does all include the ones only available on the Ny’alotha raid weapons like Lash of the Void?
This, I’m already 6.4k essences ahead on my main, since I had not purchased the rank 3 echoes for my off spec (healing) and they kept dropping for me from all content. It’s definitely an unfair advantage, should have just used a new currency rather than devalue all the echoes people had saved.

idk I said what I could and I doubt any of it will ever be read so I’ll just say my final piece:
It’s really demoralizing knowing a new system will be out that will allow some players to have a giant advantage early on, and on top of that my main source of acquiring gear (via PvP, M+, and Vision chests) will not immediately or possibly ever be usable with the new purchasable corruptions.

Any main who has unlocked all available neck essences are not receiving Echoes - This puts us at a disadvantage to those who’ve been able to collect echoes for weeks and simply not chosen to purchase their remaining essences

Please allow alts to entirely skip the legendary cloak questline up to where they receive the cloak. It is unreasonable to ask us to complete the same quests and scenarios over and over for every single alt to unlock a baseline 8.3 power level. It should be skippable the same way expansion intro quests and scenarios are.

FFS Just make all corruptions available for purchase no weekly rotation nonsense and make them cost nothing let us play with them and enjoy the insanity to come!
