Due to a technical limitation, items that have been cleansed cannot be re-corrupted. We are looking into whether it will be possible to fix this, but we don’t want to hold up the whole system in the meantime.

This is absolutely unacceptable.

Some of us have farmed non stop to get almost perfect stats and sockets on all our gear, and now were going to have to regrind out base gear with no corruptions and regrind the mementos for a socket on that piece of gear again.

Ontop of that, the reward of getting corruption on a piece of gear will now be a viewed as a negative. Getting corruption on a piece of gear that i’snt your BiS corruption will be seen as a trash item.

I’m ok with other people being ahead of my main on echos, since I’m already being punished for not being able to farm them on my main, but not being able to recorrupt cleansed gear is horrible and shouldn’t be implemented until fixed.

It really feels like y’all making up crack-baby numbers for all the masses hoarding Echoes, and that the point of the 5x changes is to deal with that but shrug, if they wanna blank the currency to fix that broken perception, that is fine.

My main has had rank 3 essences and of course that means 0 echoes on it. What will we get from having that? Will our mains get compensation for having all the R3 essences? And for the cloak it takes forever just to obtain it, will we get something similar to a skip quest besides just the beginning Magni quest? A lot of confusion and no blue posts to help support people and give clarity.

But I DID do all the content. You just had a system that rewarded me with zero Echoes because I wasn’t lazy and had all my essences.

1. are you going to retroactively give me the tens of thousands of Echoes I should have obtained had it not been for your design choice? Or do I get shafted for actively playing the game while others will get to purchase rank 3 essences on day 1?

2. why not reset all echoes so it’s actually fair for all? What’s the harm – you do this with conquest and residium as well
