Am I misunderstanding this part?
Every high ilvl piece of gear I get now is guaranteed corrupted (PvP Chest+Vision). So what gear am I going to be able to apply the corruptions I buy to? Random PvP drops (non-existent btw) and raid/M+ drops (which I don’t do)?
Because when the system goes live they will cost a lot more.
They only did that once and that was with 8.3
Other patches they just inflated the price of the residuum pieces.
So people who haven’t collected all the essences now get to buy a full set of, say, 8x masterful 1 for 24k echo’s (realistic number after months of hoarding).
Cool cool. What’s the point in playing this game again on a main with all essences since day 1 of echo’s release?

Can you please nerf EP Essence requirements? Nobody runs that raid anymore after Echoes were implemented.
They could pay me enough gold to make up for the time I spent earning those.

i thought it was just the listed corruptions and only a few will be active at a time and will rotate in and out?
Multiple guilds w/ alts raid that place on heroic/mythic weekly. Sometimes multiple times a week.
Not to mention all the pug groups.
why are all of you people complaining this is a great change that was needed who cares if your main will take a little bit longer to get all the corruptions whats the rush the expansion is over already till shadow lands just be glad you can now get the corruptions you, you all need to calm down

It’s not, hence why they should retroactively add all the ones we should have gotten.
OR they could just create another currency to have everyone on a clean slate. They did it for TR and other currencies. Only makes sense to have progression start fresh.
OR lastly they could have use all the corrupted momentos we have to do the same. There has been no cap on those and people continued to earn them from doing activities we were encouraged to for 8.3.

This druid alone has 1000s of echoes, my main has 406…
??? There’s people with 30k+ saved up. Yea, youre gonna totally earn that in a “couple of hours” at 750 per full vision or 125 for a bg win or w/e. Hope you have 40 vessels saved up and can clear them in 5 minutes each! /eyeroll 5x is not nearly enough to catch up quickly.

I am fairly certain the majority of players get their high end gear from PvP, M+, and Vision chests. This gear is always corrupted. With the new system you can’t cleanse it and apply the corruption you bought. So what are we supposed to do apply it to 445 gear we get from assaults?

p have no issues with free gold. ;D multiply that for all the alts then the account gets like a free 1-3 million gold over all.
Can Ny’alotha specific Corruption appear on the list? I would really like to get Whispering Eldritch Bow corruption on other ranged weapons. Maybe make it so if you have already collected an item with it on your account, it becomes accessible to all eligible characters. In this case it would apply only to your Hunters. That way things like Sk’Shuul Vaz corruption is only available to your Plate classes if you already obtained one, though honestly I would love it on Guardian Bear.
Can you also enable Echoes of Ny’alotha to start gaining again on characters who have all essences beforehand like during Tuesday’s maintenance.
