You sound like a guy who needs to buy some tokens if you don’t have the gold to buy the things you want on the AH.
You sound like the guy who collected every mount in game but can’t get the only one people care about…the spectral tiger. Too much gold, eh
Dude, i could have bought it 15 years ago. I didnt want a low rez tiger. I bought the Magic Rooster that I wanted instead because making jokes about wanting to ride my big black rooster are hilarious to me. Oh and the X-51 Nether-Rocket X-TREME mount. My wife got the Swift Spectral Tiger. She also got the Brutosaur mount too, but I didnt waste my gold because we play together and if I need a mobile AH she can hop on hers. I did buy the Mad Merchant Spider mount just to torment an arachnophobic guildie however.
But wanna know the best thing?
The very best thing?
This is absolutely the best thing!
I have Amazon Prime and I got the Tabard of Frost!!! I’m gonna wear it while riding my rooster!
I don’t mind it too much. I bought some mogs to fill out my monks sets with full knowledge there were people in the past that got them for free or cheaper.
This. For the trader as well. Let people have the things. Let the old stuff remain unique in its colors.
I’m kinda the opposite. I have a few tabard of the protectors from the Dark Portal event back in vanilla and it’s a cool looking tabard. If more people had it, I’d be happy for them.
Or don’t.
We all agree FOMO is bad. Some people fail to reconcile this with the human desire to stand out, among players who lack the skill to earn skill based rewards.
Owning a MTX item is not special.
Nah its all the stuff thats been removed and literally cannot be gotten anymore. Just plain removed. Bring em all back. Let the originals stay as they were, but give us ways to get recolors.
Incorrect. I pay Amazon a monthly fee for the shopping perks and streaming service. The simple fact that Prime Gaming exists is just a happy accident for me.
Ok. Not sure why I would care about that either.
The Tabard of Frost? lol no that one was hundreds of dollars. It was the most expensive one you could get off eBay. I think there was a period where the Tabard of Flame was a few bucks because it was the most common tabard.
But the fact it had an artificial price tag put on it by a third party is exactly why it needed to come back. They ban people for making real money off of carries and whatnot so the fact someone could make hundreds or thousands of dollars off someone for a tabard or mount that doesn’t even belong to them needed to stop.
I really want Tabard of the Arcane please hope be the next tabard out of Prime Gaming.
you used the word “decades”, not decade, singular.
Hey, didn’t you get the original tabard of Frost by opening TCG packs?
No, in game, from a friend. Lots got it in game… . . . . . In an MMO , there are many ways to get an item.
correct.
and we’ve just been given another one.
By being a Twitch and Amazon subscriber . . . .
The TCG stuff was like the collector edition stuff blizz did. Pay more money to get a limited time reward…ect. Now, it isn’t limited AND it is from Twitch and Amazon, after there has been a decade of AH sales and millions traded in gold , in game. How is this fair ? How can u be ok with literally watching twitch and paying amazon to get a tabard some worked hard for IRL to get and then make an economy in game because it doesn’t exist.
i was under the impression these were BoP?
…even after the other tcg items switched to actual items?
they’ve been on the BMAH for most of the games life.
…why start caring about it now?
Who got it from a TCG card?
You guys find the smallest stuff to complain about. The tabard of frost? What an epic look. Im sure everyone will mog it.
I have the Magic Rooster mount. I spent 250 dollars on the card to get the mount. Everyone should be able to ride a giant magic rooster.
I derive no sense of self worth from anything I’ve ever collected in WOW. I had fun collecting the things and doing the things. The adventure of spending time with the homies in wow was what it was all about the entire time. There have been a number of times I’ve had BIS characters with rare and unique items and I can assure those items are meaningless to me. The time spent doing the thing with your friends is what should be important to you, not the thing itself.
