Problem: Items and gear are no longer unique and valuable. Everyone gets everything, just get prime for 15 dollars a month or watch Twitch!?!? You can also AFK in LFR to get full epics.
Why i’m mad: my tabard of frost has always been my favorite item. I received it in BC from a good friend and have always gotten compliments about how cool it was. Now, i’m just like everyone else with Amazon Prime? If everyone is special , is anyone special? No. Epics should be…epic? Epics feel like greens and now I know the epic tabard of frost is from you not even playing the game…wow.
Solution: Make rewards and achievements/gear actually mean something. This is an MMORPG. . . . . .
This game has gone down hill and it is evident with Plunderstorm.
My post my be viewed as a complaint;however, I do believe Blizzard can change this trajectory. WoW can still be saved!! What is going on with the devs? Is this a joke? Seriously, what happened to WoW?
My guy it’s been over 10 years this has been released. Most people now weren’t even playing then. FINALLY people are getting what they couldn’t get in years and only because Blizzard decided it wasn’t a good business venture to sell cards.
And calling WoW doomed cause your little ego was affected by a re-released Tabard ?
Definitely a “you” problem here. Deriving the value of something based on “compliments” from others or from how unique you think you are is ultra cringe. I can assure you…nobody cares what you have or don’t have.
The point i’m making is everything you achieve in WoW will eventually be given for free by paying Amazon 15 dollars a month. I’m saying you can make it an in game event or achievement for top PVPer of the month!! I DONT CARE. Just not 15 dollars a month for Prime? LOL
i was on board the anti give rare items away train from day 1 when they announced the fel drake free for all.
but since then, and having watch them give away tons of tcg items, raf items etc… etc… my feelings for blizzard and their decisions have calloused over and brought me to a point where i dont care about them anymore. i only log in for my friends and this game is dead to me in the sense of trust for what blizzard can and will do. they have no clue what they are doing anymore and it is almost as if they are trying to intentionally sabotage wow for smaller, faster pace mini game bs.
Point is: make it an in game reward , or something of VALUE. You pay Amazon 15 dollars a month to get an epic tabard. EPIC …EPIC …EPIC TABARD… LOL. Greens are easier to get !
And all these tabards were still attainable… for stupidly high prices that technically isn’t really good TOS-wise I believe.
This is freaking ridiculous. It’s tabards and mounts that are either store-released or TCG. It’s not gladiator’s, it’s not AoTC, it’s not whatever actual content was done and locked. It’s CARDS THAT WERE SOLD
Get your priorities straight and touch some grass. Nobody should have to pay 1900$ for pixels (tabard of frost price), even 15$ is too much, glad they did that.

The precedent they are setting is unsettling. Re rewarding things people hit the black market auction house for? YOU DO KNOW WHAT THE BLACK MARKET AUCITON HOUSE IS WHERE PEOPLE SPENT MILLIONS ON THESE ITEMS?

Those that did way back when Twitch Prime didn’T give anything got that tabard for months before anyone, and most likely years before anyone. If they had that gold they will get it back. Nobody spent a full gold cap on this. And if someone did it’s never gonna be their entire money.
