Sylvanas turning bad is too depressing

Just kill her off already.

Sylvanis was the wrong character for any spotlight. Never gave a crap about her or the forsaken.

Did you just say genocide and a deliberate attempt to pile up as many dead bodies as possible is in some way rational?

“Avoiding my time in Hell is reasonably worth tens of thousands of lives and condemning the souls of those whose deaths I’ve engineered to eternity in the Maw.” Yeah, that’s rational alright.

Quite rational really.

She wants to live, she has the power and intelligent to create a plan to achieve her goals, the fact that a night elf genocide is a means to her end means nothing.
What matters is her achieving her goal and she did.

Plus there’s a good chance she has a plan for all those dead considering her ‘will set us all free’ line, but again irrelevant, her goal is what matters. Not how she achieves it and I can respect her for that.

And that is miles superior to evil characters whose entire reason is just emotional insecurity and inferiority complexes resulting in racist and muh great superior race bs.

Doing this would be the ultimate shark jumping moment.

“Turning” bad? It’s more of a slight veer.

What part of chaotic evil alignment, that all undead are, confuses you? she has always bben evil from the moment she became undead.

chaotic evil

A chaotic evil character tends to have no respect for rules, other people’s lives, or anything but their own desires, which are typically selfish and cruel. They set a high value on personal freedom, but do not have much regard for the lives or freedom of other people. Chaotic evil characters do not work well in groups because they resent being given orders and do not usually behave themselves unless there is no alternative. Examples of this alignment include higher forms of undead, such as [liches])

It would make her story even worse. I don’t care what her greater plans are, if Blizzard try to redeem her it would be the worst story ever. She mocked Saurfang’s dead son, killed him herself, mocked the Alliance and Horde and said the Horde (her people included) were nothing. She murdered her own people, even those loyal to her in “Before the Storm” and those who just wanted to live with their families. She burned thousands of innocents alive, caring not for their torment and smirked while doing it. Even if she magically had some “greater reason” she’s still a complete douche in how she went about it and subjected thousands to terrible suffering.

She is way beyond redemption now.

She still killed all those people at Teldrassil out of spite. If Blizzard thinks that this is something she can be legitimately redeemed from they are sadly mistaken.

Still holding out hope that she will be unceremoniously killed by Thrall in a cinematic after a non-raid scenario instance. I also sincerely hope that Blizzard never ruin or waste a character in this manner ever again.

Maybe under their new leader…and there are people who are sick or whatever and do not want to die, some may want to be immortal bags of flesh for selfish reasons as well. Valks are needed though.

It would be stupid because then the whole tree burning and Saurfang thing would have been her just “playing along”, which would be ridiculous.

It will depend on how Lirath Windrunner interacts with her.

I would like an even more ignoble end for her; seeing her get an enchanted and poisoned dagger buried in her kidney by a no-name rogue in the middle of a fight and letting us watch her writhe on the ground in agony for hours…err, minutes…before she finally, irrevocably, dies.

Well Palpatine from Star Wars didn’t do what he did because he thought was evil neither did Darth Vader they did what they did as they wanted security and safety.
