WoD changed because they decided to cut half its launch content and all of its planned patch content so they could effectively spend an extra year and some change on Legion. One of the only things that changed from feedback was the Yrel/Maraad romance being cut, which ended up just making their arc hollow.
The fact that they’ve encrypted the entire last chapter of the war campaign just makes me think they intend to avoid outrage by dropping it in our laps without giving us time to voice complaints.
I mean, the books and games have also beeb building up the war of light vs void a lot as well. Also been building up the idea that the light isnt inherently good. There are several different plot threads thr books have been building up.
I do agree that the Shadowlands feels inevitable though, and its a place id love to see!.. just not in the way the leak portrays it.
The leak dropped after the mount was announced chronologically. Is it not possible that, in the event it is fake, that the person who made the leak took that to make their leak more convincing? Same with places like Xiro (or however its spelt) being taken directly from Ion’s interview where he talks about his greek heritage.
If this leak had come out before things like that then I’d be willing to give it more stock. The fact it came out after though…
Again, my opinion is that its fake but I hope we find out soonish.

All the numberchan leaks are 100% bogus fakery, and I will eat every shoe I own if that doesn’t prove to be the case. At least, they are in pretending to be insider leaks. What they are, more likely, is highly elaborate fan speculation pretending to be insider leaks to gain attention. Regrettably, it’s worked.
Dark Ranger is far more appropriate for a shadowlands expansion than a damn tinker is. I don’t know where the numberchanner autists got so obsessed with tinker from, but I sincerely doubt it’s going to happen if bliztard has two brain cells to rub together among the entirety of their staff.
Well the Sylvanas Murky Pet was picked up by a popular dataminer on MMOchamp not the numberchan leakers.
The leak people are mostly going off of says that we use goblin and gnomish technology to travel to and from the Shadowlands without needing to repeatedly kill ourselves and have our souls pulled back. There have also been quests since Vanilla that revolved around technology to deal with the undead.
Tinker seems entirely possible to me, if only because it’s a hero from WC3 that has almost none of its elements in existing classes or even engineering.

Sylvanas is already the main antagonist of this expansion, and not just for Alliance players.

Leaks are never accurate, and if the did Shadowlands and added Tinker that would be dumb as it gets. A Sylvanas Death expansion with a dull class like Tinker just does not fit the theme at all. I would prefer no classes added than Tinker.

I’m assuming you mean the Shadowlands “leak”? Because that claimed that there would be a faction raid in 8.3, but it’s already confirmed that the war story is ending in 8.2.5. So that particular fan fiction is already busted. Don’t feel too bad, there’s a good couple dozen other ones you’re welcome to choose from, or you can stop pretending like anyone is going to leak the story and just wait until November like the rest of us.

Just because the warcampaign is ending doesn’t mean the faction story is.
8.2.5 has those large encrypted cinematics coming. The entire thing could easily set up a faction raid as the conclusion to BFA.
You really think they’d blow N’zoth on a single patch as final boss? Unlikely.
The War Campaign apparently ends in 8.2.5. What does the War Campaign mean exactly?
Plus Legion had 7.3.5 which was Antorus.
