Swifty's NPC Removed

Who has stripped him of his due process though? Has he been put into jail without a trial?

We live in a society where social media controls us. All it takes is an accusation of sexual assault for someone’s livelihood and life to be ruined and really is a strong negative to those who ACTUALLY went through sexual assault.

That statistic is based on self-reporting, the very thing we are saying is bull. No do not believe that 870 women out of every 1000 are unwilling to try and get justice by reporting the crime. No do not believe that 870 women out of every thousand will risk letting the crime happen again to another women because they refused to come forward. No do not believe that lie.

Do you have any statistics to actually back that up? Or are you just speaking directly from your butt?

I’m assuming the latter?

This is very true.

Doesn’t go far enough since this "cancel’ culture virus has infected society we need to make examples out of false accusers. Severe fines and jail time should fix the problem and then only people actually abused will come forward and we can deal with the scum who did it assuming there’s proof etc…

In fairness, there are plenty of other, if not even more terrible ways to ruin someone’s career and life. Nowadays, it is just an accusation away. If that isn’t an intervention in the whole due process thing then I don’t know what is. I won’t comment on the justification of it all though. I have already, and I think I have been fair. Sometimes it’s justified, sometimes it isn’t.

They’re not easy cases to win if I remember right. There are very specific things that ALL have to be proven to win the case.

“Stop believing statistics that I don’t like

That is a bold angle of discussion…

Removing an NPC is like temporarily dropping an endorsement. That happens all the time.

Thing is United States or technically certain countries of the world delves down into this juvenile mentality thinking all females are innocent not realizing they’re just creating more of an manipulative society. All of sudden a all men are guilty even when they’re not, but when found out innocent the female just gets a slap on the wrist where it’s the opposite if it was the male. It’s this new form of narrative of an witch hunt just so they can feel better even though the lad could possibly be completely innocent. The real main reason these females are probably targeting Swifty because of one purpose.

He has clout, he’s specifically white straight male since that’s also part of their narrative and they know how weak this country is knowing they will always take their side because of “believe all females” as if they’re truly oppress. Blizzard unfortunately has been infiltrated so of course they will take a female side than a male than rather investigate like a common sense company would, but those delicious PR points are always great to eat not realizing they’re just damaging their image.

Blizzard overall is that “special” company. Such a sad fate for them to become this way.

The law is so out of date like it hasn’t been touched in years and it also depends which public audience they want to listen to. Since this is “United States” we already know how weak the society is when pointing the finger. I mean they do it certain races all the time when panic mode explodes.

Facts and until this “United States” understand they’re just making a fool of themselves pretending females are truly “victims” when all they want is just attention. This country will never get out of this toxic cycle.

I think you’re just being sarcastic on this one just for attention. I feel like you know the truth, but you’re just playing Devil’s Advocate for attention. It’s not bad because responses needs to be heard. This mentality has to be stopped or else this country won’t survive a war whether it’s outside or inside.

Overall I hope Swifty sues his false accusers and then Blizzard if they do anything shady.

if you had any training in statistics at all, you would realize how many studies are bull. Show me your credentials. I have a msce in applied economics. What do you do?

Celebrities, as much as I generally loathe them, need to be able to sue for libel and slander for accusations like this.

Yep if celebrities have trouble exonerating themselves imagine your average person. Once it’s out there you can’t erase it from people minds.

true, if the razor and origins remove swifty, then it is serious.

The court of public opinion has never required due process, and likely never will.

Trial by social media is a cancer that needs to be done away with. But even without it this stuff will still happen. If the case is big enough that it makes the news than opportunists will throw their hat in the ring hoping for a celeb to give them a settlement so they stop muddying the waters.

That’s because he IS guilty no matter what you’d like to think.

In the DOTA community, we did have an ex-caster win a case against a now removed ‘beloved’ member of the community. She claimed he ruined her career and harassed her out. So it’s not unheard of.

Did I say any of that, did I even imply it… no.

Considering a lot of people are already convinced he is guilty. That the court of public opinion is very highly regarded now a days… and how easily it is to ruin a persons livelihood through such accusations before anything is proven. His due process came, and gone in a span of a tweet.
