Swifty's NPC Removed

Not responding is the best thing he can do. Right now anything he says could be used against him.He likely got a lawyer to help him.

If it’s serious enough, yeah. He would have been foolish not to seek legal council.

Nope. See: Angry Joe

I wonder why online discussions so prominently feature discussions of false allegations of sexual harassment or assault when between 2 and 10% of all allegations of sexual assault are false?

If most assaults do not get reported, prove they ever even happened? You are flatly conflating the percentage of women that claim to have been assaulted with the number of reports. I knew a woman who claimed she had been assaulted because she drank too much at work, kissed her boss then got fired for drinking on the job. Guess who filed a lawsuit for harassment? Good thing the office had lots of cameras.

Yeah how can you prove they are never reported…if they are never reported…lol

Blizzard is perfectly entitled to remove his NPC from the game. They don’t need a court of law to find him guilty for that to happen.

It’s their brand and it’s their game. They can protect however they like.

Between 2 and 10 are proven false. That doesn’t include all the false accusations that are never proven false.

Exactly, no need to entertain the cancel crowd that will demonize him. Due process is necessary and he is probably consulting a lawyer.

Accusations do not prove victimhood. Some “victims” are devils in disguise.

No. I said many of them were riding the wave for attention. For every real victim speaking out there are twice as many fakes looking for easy money.

Ha! No joke, I always wondered who that NPC was when I was in the Ashran area. LOL!!

I do know why the majority of sexual assaults go unreported; I also know a sexual assault victim, my sister; I do not disagree with your opinion. However, Twitter can’t charge the person.

One, he might be seeking legal council, two by Blizzard removing his “statue” implies he is guilty of gross misconduct, which goes against their core values. Three, adding it back? If I were Swifty, I would be suing Blizzard for defamation of character-based on a Twitter and Reddit post.

You can look at the statistics. Out of every 1000 sexual assaults, 230 are officially reported to police, 46 lead to an arrest, 9 get referred to prosecutors, 5 lead to a conviction, 4.6 are actually incarcerated.

Yep, people are sadly using rape as a joke to punish people they hate. The other night I was reading post accusing cole sprouse. Even after the girl said she lied.

This whole thread is silly. Who cares if they removed the NPC, guilty or not?

It isn’t like it was Thrall or something.

Some probably do, yeah. We’ve seen it happen on more than one occasion. I really can’t comment on the ratios though because I simply don’t know enough. Nor will I try and look foolish.

they can face it in the form of defamation suite, right ??

he was lucky that they let the footage be put in evidence. some guys cant even offer a defense.
