Took a look at the list / some of the stories and I mean, looks a lot like sexual assault to me. Not to mention there are multiple witnesses in a number of stories and location/time/place can all be verified pretty easily. Not getting into the evidence/no evidence mess but I don’t think it’s fair to assume someone is lying just as I don’t think it’s fair to convict without fair trial.

Happy these folks are speaking out, it’s terrible that they’ve been through these situations and the people that put them through it should justifiably be investigated / punished if proven to have done what the accused said.

I’ve said from the beginning, it’s an impossible situation for all parties. Obviously you don’t want to see someone falsely accused, and you also don’t want victims to be helpless because they don’t have concrete evidence to be able to tell their story.

Fixed that for you.

Um, you are so full of crap. Fords testimony was full of lies and inconsuistancies and even her close friends could not corroborate her story. A female cross examiner ripped her fabricated story to shreds and she had a history of lying, fraud and moving around to “start her life over” on multiple occasions.

There was ZERO evidence to prove Kavanaugh ever did what he was accused of.

Here, here is an entire article on her flawed testimony:

https://www.nationalreview.com/bench-memos/reviewing-the-inconsistencies-in-fords-testimony/

And another:

https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2018/10/03/christine-blasey-ford-changing-memories-not-credible-kavanaugh-column/1497661002/

But instead of going to the authorities; I am so scared I go to Twitter and Facebook?

Assault happens to all people, not just women.

Yep, I’m going to Twitter it right now. May the court of social media have mercy on your soul.

Keep in mind photoshop can easily make anything look real, just saying. Take screenshots with a grain of salt.

I just watched Blizzard Thanos snap messytoilet out of existence, savage lol.

No.

I already given my thoughts on Caelus’s silly comment there, so i won’t be as generous and detailed as i would be here.

The message here is simple, the rules your trying to impose will affect you too.

I am sure @Caelus is a troll.

I mean, they probably crossed the line just a bit with that last one. I get they were probably joking around, but that’s a bit of a touchy subject to use as the basis of a joke.

Is this about those huge wave of accusations about all these guys in high places in gaming sexually harassing people?

Because a lot of those guys came out admitting to it and apologizing for it.

This is just factually incorrect. Sure there are a number of cases that aren’t prosecuted or investigated. But there’s an ocean on difference between a number of cases ignored and the police not doing anything.

You spout 2% as the rate of false accusations but ignore the bias of the researchers producing the reports. You also ignore the fact that even at a low percentage, false rape accusations far outweigh all other false crime accusations.

It seems your emotional bias has caused you to drift from reality into fantasy.

If this is true what swifty did, big yikes.

Here’s hoping that justice can be done for whoever is right.

I’m entirely sure the national review and a writer from the Federalist were both entirely unbiased in defending their creep supreme court nominee lol.

Someone who is truly a victim of assault, you can’t really judge how and when they tell there story. No one knows what they have gone through, and their pain.

Yes, it should be reported to authorities as soon as possible, but every situation is different and people “come out” about their experience when they can, how they can. Some never do.

In the sense that many pushers of political or governmental change are trolls. Actively spreading misinformation and trying to incite others.

I think a lot of victims (real or otherwise) use social media as a source of validation. If 7 people or 7000 people believe them, in their eyes they probably look more credible. It’s like you said though, everyone handles various situations differently.
